Been MIA... Catch up posts - Feb 18 2009 part II I'm exactly 10 weeks today... I wish I'd not found out so early because this pregnancy is going to take FOREVER!!! lol
I remembered another thing from my dream this afternoon. I tried to breastfeed the baby, but bub wouldn't attach... so I looked inside her mouth and she had 2 tongue ties, which strangely looked like these clear plastic hair ties I have... I showed the ties to the midwife, who pinched them between her nails to untie/snip them... then the baby attached fine.
I love my strange dreams! lol

Been MIA... Catch up posts - Feb 18 2009 I had a dream last night...
In my dream I gave birth to a beautiful little girl, who had a head full of blonde hair and looked just like a blonde version of Harrison.
I was in my lounge room, holding onto the lounge for support when I gave birth. I know it sounds strange, but I swear I felt it happen! It was no where near as painful as giving birth, but there was definitely a sensation.
Our baby girl weighed 9lb 3oz's and James was proud that he was still my biggest baby (lol)
I woke Rob up to tell him all about my dream! I have been starting to think that perhaps this bub is a girl... I just feel different this time around... and you know what, when I was pregnant with both Noah & Harrison I had boys in my dreams... with James I remember dreaming I gave birth to a girl, and I was shattered because I was certain I was having a boy... but straight after my dreamed birth, I was still pregnant with a boy. Weird. I remember having girl dreams with Maddy, but in my dreams she never suited the name Madeleine so I would have to think of other names.

Been MIA... Catch up posts - Feb 15 2009 part II I'm not too worried about the bleeding now as it has totally gone away... so I haven't had anything since last night. Because I have had 2 sucessful pregnancies with bleeding in them (Maddy & Harry) I'm not too concerned now. If it had continued today I would be more worried. I think some of the pain/pains I was having could possibly be contributed to the fact that I was a little constipated... I didn't realise how badly until later when my belly size reduced dramatically! lol
I'm going to the midwife on Friday so I will let her know, any more worries and I will go straight to the Dr.

Been MIA... Catch up posts - Feb 15 2009 Yesterday was Valentines day... Rob and I had a lovely loungeroom floor picnic and Rob got me a beautiful bottle of Vera Wang Princess perfume, which I had never smelled before but it is so pretty and perfect for me (thankfully!)
Anyway... I am going to put out a TMI ALERT on this,
Rob & I dtd... and then I decided to go for a shower. In the shower I noticed I was bleeding. I got out of the shower, dried myself and then proceeded to freak out.
I got dressed and then sat on the toilet, crying of course.
Everytime I wiped there was colour. Not too bad but it was there... just like the miscarriage started out. I got really, really worried and Rob was so scared (poor honey)
Rob wanted to call my midwife, who gave me her mobile number for emergencies etc, even though I haven't met her yet.
I wanted to wait an hour, monitor the bleeding and decide from there... I told Rob that I would sooner go to John Hunter Hosp as it was better than waiting for the midwife, who I am guessing would have told me to go to the ED anyway.
I put on a pad and played the waiting game. I started getting pains right above my pubic bone. I couldn't stop crying... as much as I was trying to stay positive, every memory of the miscarriage came flooding back. I didn't want to lose ANOTHER baby.
After an hour I went and checked and the bleeding had turned to a brown-ish colour. Another 1/2 hr passed and there was nothing.
Today there is still nothing and there are no pains, which is fantastic.
I daresay I will be having a scan to check all is ok, but it was definitely a scary experience! We dtd again and there was no more bleeding (thankfully)
The strange thing is that I had bleeding like this around the same duration in my pregnancy with Harrison. The ultrasound determined that there was no reason for the bleeding and that it may have been a slight breakthrough of AF, or a small blood vessel inside me that had broken/burst and let out a little blood... there was definitely more blood than this with Harrison, and it went on for 3 days with him.
OK, so this is the 2nd scare for me with this pregnancy... how many more will there be? None hopefully!
