8-10-06.. Katie Wilson's offer
Well, last night when we got back from getting groceries, Katie Wilson (from church) invited us over for a bonfire for Adam's (her husband) 21st birthday.. so we went of course. :) lol. Even though it was a little late, and Jaz was tired. But she made us an offer.. She was going to have to look for a part-time job and put Isaiah (her son) in daycare.. her proposition to us was this...

for about $2/hr.. she can watch Jazmine, stay home with Isaiah.. we'd have a babysitter we trust.. and she'd have income! :) And when you (little butter bean) come along in April, she'll watch both of you for $3/hr.

Brian (dad) and i are going to consider it.. cause daycare would run us $600/mth for one baby.. with Katie watching Jaz, it'd be $350/mth for one baby. And either one of us could pick her up.. cause they only live 5 minutes away.. right in between my job and home. :) So i'm hoping we can do it!

Janine, I love you! :)
Well, one of my college friends that i talk to alot is going to help me out with some stuff! She's giving us a toddler bed with mattress (and rails), a toddler carseat and a booster seat for the kitchen table.. all free! We just have to make a trip to Jackson and pick them up from her dad's house. NOT A PROBLEM! :) lol

She's SO awesome. :)

Telling work ...
Well, Erin (the other secretary at BCKS, PLLC) came home from her wedding on Tuesday.. and i told her congratulations on the wedding, and that I was pregnant again.. she was like "oh wow! congratulations!".. luckily, the firm is very people and family friendly.. and she doesn't think there will be ANY problem telling Dave (my boss).. i told Ron (partner in Monroe) because Erin told me he's going to have to work on Maternity Leave since we're a new company and small, we might not have any policy on that... but there is a mandatory 6 weeks that they HAVE to give me. Whether i take the full time or not.. that's up to me and Brian (dad).. but it's good to know. Even though it's not paid.. i think we'll manage.

The only thing i'm really fearing is finding a babysitter for Jaz is hard enough day to day/week to week.. but finding a sitter for two babies under 2? that's going to be a challenge.

When we found out..
July 20-06
Well, I felt kind of odd today. And not remembering when my last period was, I expected it to start anytime. But it just wasn't showing. I had really bad gas, pimles on my arms, and felt kinda' queasy.. so i decided to take a pregnancy test.

Well, I bought a cheap +/- one, and it turned up pretty faintly with a plus.. so i wanted to make sure it wasn't just an evaporation line.. so I told Brian i was going to buy a digital.. I took it that night when we got back from the store.. (we were visiting Justin in VA).. and it blinked for a little bit.. sitting there waiting.. "pregnant".

I showed Brian (dad) first thing and good thing he was sitting on the floor.. cause he fell over, lol. :) I showed Justin and he was EXSTATIC.. i showed his wife, Kelly.. she automatically said "nu-uh.. you're kidding!" lol. it was definitely a shock.. to everyone but me, of course, cause i was the one feeling pregnant. haha.

So we came home that Monday and told Brian's mom, told my mom.. then that week when we to see Brian's dad and Tina, we told them. :) Everyone said almost the EXACT SAME THING.. "oh wow.." lol. :) Yep, everyone was in shock. :)
