37 weeks 3 days.. dr appt and ultrasound well i had my internal and another ultrasound today (see pictures!).. Alivia is growing well.. i tested positive for Group B Strep.. it's a kind of bacteria that needs to be treated via antibiotics during labor.. also i'm almost 3 cm and 70% effaced.. i lost some more mucous plug today too. things are going good!

mucous plug i just had some more mucous plug come out.. with a tinge of red. :) cool! weird, i know, that i'm excited. i've just never been to this point in a pregnancy, though. i had my daughter at 37 weeks, induced. i'm still going good at 37.5 weeks this time, and things are happening. so this is exciting for me. :) yay!

37 weeks today.. *whew* this time last time (with DD) i was recovering from giving birth (gel induced) after 5 weeks of bedrest due to PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension- toxemia). so i've never been this far while still on my feet and things are going SO much better.
though now i'm getting horrid night's sleep, can't barely get comfortable, and i'm a gas machine. lol. :) my slip on shoes are tight on my feet (uhoh).. and i'm already progressing (last week i was already 50% effaced and 1-2 cm dilated.. she could feel the head!).
nobody expects me to go the full 40 weeks, lol. :) i don't know what it's like to feel real contractions (i was on epidural to keep my stress down), i dont know what it's like to for my water to break by itself (but i guess that's normal?).. i have no idea what to expect labor to be like.. all i know is i do a lot of walking, and because of the increased blood flow "down south" i have a lot more orgasms (DH or not, lol) so i know that will help it start.
anywho.. we'll see! i'm doing all kinds of fun things with my belly (as seen in bio pics). :) and luckily i don't have any new stretch marks this time around.. yet. :)

getting closer! i swear tonight it felt like she was trying to punch through the hole! and then when brian made me laugh, he kept laughing cause it made my belly bounce, lol. :)
