bubble bath. :) last night, i got home, Jaz was at grandma's for the night, and Brian was out helping his cousin move. i called him just to say hi and see how they were doing. guess what he suggested? :)
"since you're home by yourself and you don't have anything really to do, why don't you take a bubble bath instead of a shower? fill the tub with hot sudsy water, light some candles and put on some of your girl music.. just relax" :)
it was so cool.. it almost made me cry, it was so sweet. :) i felt like a million bucks before i even started on it, because it felt like he had done it for me.. drawn my bath with bubbles, lit some candles and picked out my music. :) it was so wonderful. :) by the time he got home from helping move, it was 10pm and he was starving, (half hour til bedtime and had to eat) so i didn't get a chance to "thank him" (lol).. but it was really nice. :)
also, i felt the baby move again last night, when i was laying on my side, just when i got in bed. :) perfect end to the day.
2006-10-27 (16 weeks)
what a day :( started off i got a horrid nights sleep last night, kept waking up, uncomfortable.. then this morning i had to drive to adrian to drop off Jazz at daycare (cause i couldn't find a babysitter until 9 last night)...
then this morning i get McDonalds for breakfast and feel bad about it, because brian doesn't like me doing that.. but we have to go grocery shopping, so it's not like i have a choice.. and i have to eat something!
then i get to work and my head is hurting and i just feel like poop.. then my boss is mad cause he's late going to court and some of the stuff we had ready for him to take for filing wasn't ready, and he kept saying "it should have been filed already" as if it was my fault (though it kind of is.. but still..).. then i felt like puking.. so i was crying.
and my review is today after work, and Ron might not even be there (other lawyer, HR guy) so i may just have to deal with Dave (my boss).. oh well, it won't be long.. then hopefully i can just relax tonight.. except that we were going to have a bonfire but it looks like it's going to be rained out..
so yeah, it just hasn't been a good 24 hours for me.
on a better note, i did swallow my vitamin last night.. after cutting it in half.
2006-10-26 (16 weeks)
what a night.. ok, i get out of work and walk down to the vision center where Brian is getting his eyes checked.. he hadn't picked up Jazmine, which he was supposed to do. so i go get Jazmine, and we go home.
on the way home, he decides we should go out for dinner, which is nice.. so we go out for dinner.
on the way to dinner i got a call from Sue and she can't watch Jaz tomorrow.. i already know Katie can't, Betsy can't, Heidi has to work, my sister is in school, Donna already has plans.. i was frantically calling people while i was eating dinner, and nobody was answering their phones.
i finally called Safka back at 9pm cause i'd left her a message earlier (she owns a daycare) and she could do it.
and then brian tells me i dont need to stress out.
ok dear, you barely ever take care of Jazmine, i find all the babysitters, i'm pregnant on top of that.. and now i'm tired. so don't tell me i dont have to stress. i'd like to see you pull it off for a DAY. then lets see what kind of shape you're in.

it IS the baby moving! i can totally tell it's the baby moving, now. it's right before bed, like it always was with Jazz. and this one also likes cold drinks! lol.
