OK, now that I know I have to right person...I just want to say Thank you very much for the help. I spoke to my husband tonite about starting to use the crate for him (the dog, not the husband...although...LOL) When we got him he was fully crate trained b/c the lady was older and had tripped over him and broke her hip, that is how we ended up with him. I am just afraid I have un-crate-trained him b/c I have spoiled him so much. The dog has his own wardrobe!! LOL
So we are gonna start that this weekend. He's is not gonna like it...and yes, he barks...if he hears someone/thing outside especially. And he won't stop until you get up and go see what it is he heard.
He also knows that when the keys come off the hook, he gets to go in the car....have to stop that too...Poor baby..he is gonna think we don't love him anymore.
Now I feel like crying. My hubby and I are extreme animal lovers. I have two children from a previous marriage (15 & 18) and he and I have none (yet) so for the last 7 years of our relationship we have made our animals our children. I know I am just now pregnant, but I want to make this as easy on my animals as I do on us and the new baby.
Oh, and by the way...my husband thought your idea about using the baby's blanket from the hospital was a very smart idea. He said we would definately do that.
Thanx again very much!
