Pregnancy Journal

She is TWO MONTHS old tomorrow!  Can you believe it?!  She has grown SO BIG!  Her next appt. is Monday morning.  We are very curious to find out how much exactly.   We love her so much.  Today, she played with a toy (sort of) with her Daddy's help.  She has also been smiling like crazy lately... and those little legs of her are SO STRONG!  So impressed.  Oh, and she scooched ever so slightly at least once or twice in the past week.  She really seems like she wants to move (and eat).  She is such a blessing!  I love her so much!  WOW!  Okay, so that's all for now!

She's 5 weeks old today.  She is so so big.  At her appt 2 weeks ago she weighed 9lbs 14oz... A gain of 1 lb 10 oz in 2 weeks!  She's gorgeous... still very healthy, still eating well... she's amazing!  We love our little Joy Joy!  You really do start to block out or forget the painful and frustrating parts... no wonder people can have more than one child so happily!  Anyway, things are well.  I have my first follow up with my OB next Tuesday and Joy has already had two good checkups and a vaccine... she was amazing there too!  LOL  Amazing!  That's all for now... almost time for her to eat!

I love my baby girl!  Things are progressing better than I thought initially.  I am learning there are still plenty of hormones in me and I still have plenty of healin to do but overall, I think I am doing pretty well.  (Did I mention I have lost 14 lbs?  I couldn't have ained more than 17 by the way.)  Joy Joy is doing well too (and I know that is who you really wanted to know about)!  She is even giving us a little more sleep already!  So impressed and I love it!  You should hear her squeak!  Oh, and those legs and feet... she is going to be taller than me too!  I love my girl!  She still appears as though she will be Daddy's girl... gotta love it.  He loves laying down with her... another thing they can do together... nap.  (There's a whole list he has of what he wants to do with her over the years.) I find myself sometimes dreaming a little of her upcoming firsts, her talking, growing, taking her out in public... (and us getting more sleep-lol). But I realize as fun as all that will be I want to enjoy my Joy right now... she is so so so precious!  There is so much to say but I am so scatterbrained right now... I am around, resting, recuperatin, and loving life... Feel free to send me a note :)
