Totally Slacking
Here's my once a month posting. Everything has gotten crazier around our house. Hopefully as this semester winds down, things will settle down at least for a few weeks.
I had my 2nd prenatal appointment Friday, October 30. The baby still seems to be doing great. The heartbeat was 160 bpm. I have gained about 11 pounds in 12 weeks. Most of that was giving into every fast food craving I had. I'm starting to feel normal again, so I don't HAVE to eat what I want at that very moment. Today is my 3rd day without fast food! That's a record lately, sadly. Hopefully I can hold out until Friday and continue doing a once a week treat.
Halloween was fun. We had a kiddy party for Cam Friday night and trick-or-treated Saturday. He was an ER doctor. It took alot to convince him to wear his costume, lol, but he relented. I was feeling nostalgic that this is his last Halloween with us all to himself. I have so many mixed feelings about my baby boy being a big brother. He will be almost 3 when this baby is born, so he's had his time, but I can't picture him not being the baby anymore:-). Hopefully he's a GREAT big bro! |
