7 Weeks down The last couple weeks, I think starting around 5 and a half, I started feeling extreme fatigue, but then the morning sickness came....and hasn't left yet.
Over the weekend, I pretty much stayed in bed and let hubby take over. Its my first weekend back home (since I knew I was pregnant) and it felt wonderful to just relax. Even though when I woke up, I was just as tired as I was before I went to sleep! But it felt good just the same.
I somehow mustered up enough energy to get dressed up for Halloween and hand out candy with Sass. Shortly afterward though, I was back to feeling worn down and crappy. Luckily I wasn't like this with Sass, I have no idea how I would have gone to work everyday.
I have been trying to get a hold of the OB/GYN clinic since I have been back in VA, with no luck! I keep getting the lady's voice mail, I leave a message, and I never get any calls back. The one time I actually reached her, she cut me off mid sentence, told me to call right back and leave my name and number and she would call me back, because she was too busy to help me at that moment. Needless to say, she never called me back within the 30 minutes she said she would.
So I was tired of getting the run around and days going by where I STILL havent seen a doc to even confirm my pregnancy, I packed up Sass and took her to the hospital to make an appointment in person....and wouldn't you know it, when I got there, their computer systems were down and I was unable to make an appointment!
So I inquired about getting a referral to another hospital and so now I go there tomorrow morning to start this process AGAIN. But luckily it will be with a different hospital and I don't have to bother with that clinic ever again!
So nothing real new to report yet, I am not showing, I weigh the same, but I have been feeling WAY more tired, sick and just run down.
I still feel very thirsty, but now I am having food cravings, but they quickly turn into aversions as soon as I start thinking of or making what it was I was craving. I think that is worse than the fatigue. When I eat, I don't feel satisfied, and feel like tossing it back up soon after I eat it, though I haven't ever thrown up once. I just am stuck with this awful feeling.
Hopefully tomorrow I will have more to write about. For now I am off to bed, I am of course, very tired!
2009-10-15 (4 weeks)
We're expecting baby number 2! We found out on the 12th of October that we are expecting baby number 2! We are so excited!
We actually planned this one, I tested 15dpo and it was a positive! I tested a few days before and nothing so I was starting to wonder if we conceived (though I really felt that we did), but as time went on, more signs started showing and I just knew.
I am in Michigan visiting family at the moment so I can not go to the doctor to confirm until a couple more weeks, but since we were trying, I have been taking folic acid and vitamins and eating real healthy. So I am sure all will be fine until I see the doctor.
With my first, we didnt find out until I was around 9 weeks along. Luckily with this one, I pretty much knew right on so I acted like I was before we got the positive.
My mom keeps saying it will be a boy, I am thinking another girl, but we shall see!
Today I bought little bean a giraffe to put in the crib. I did the same for Sass, I bought her a monkey as soon as I found out I was expecting.
I have a journal on here with my first (who is almost 21 months old already!) and it feels weird I am here again. But I am thrilled, excited and we are both just so happy!
