gifts galore! Well, we've been in FL the past week visiting his grandma. His mom is down here cause they have a place they stay @ for a few months in the winter. What was nicest was going to Sea World, we went to Discovery Cove by there yesterday and I got to swim w/ a dolphin! He was so cute & friendly. We got to feed him, kiss him, and pet him. Also, there was an artificial coral reef so we snorkeled w/out having to go on a boat in the Keys. Earlier in the wk. his mom surprised me w/ lots of maternity clothes from Target. She'd gotten 4 things we had to take back cause I'm NOT a 1x, I've been a 14 since a while, weigh 15lbs less than the highest at size 16. People don't know that your pre-preg size is on the clothes. When we went to the store, she picked out like 6 more items for me! Tops, a nice dress, etc! So I'll be well-dressed when I start needing "bumpy" clothes. Other than that, today she came w/ clothes from Costco his grandma had bought, loungewear, a soft bathrobe, and pjs etc I can wear when baby's born.
The biggest gift was a large monetary demoniation that his wealthy great-uncle gave us, along w/ other family members, today New Yr's eve. It's enough to cover 1 yr day care! We weren't expecting anything so we were shocked! We got the same amt for our wedding but we didn't expect again! So we are truly blessed this holiday season, esp. me w/ getting so much clothes, and the nice weekend we had w/ Sea World + the dolphins.

it's a....
BOY!! We went for a detailed ultrasound today where they measured all the organs, bones, and we saw the whole body. It was alot to see for the fact the "turkey is only 1/2 cooked", at 20wks. It was neat to see the baby's arm move to scratch is head, and the head turn to the side. The technician showed us the spine, stomach, bladder. It will probably be the only one I get but we got some good pics. Other than that, we'll go to his grandma's in FL tomorrow for a wk and maybe go to Sea World or snorkelling in the Keys. We'll see.
Check out the photo album for more ultrasound pics + a non-belly yet pic.

some "rippling" feelings I've felt movement for the last wk, it feels like rippling or sometimes indigestion, sometimes even as if the baby's doing summersaults in there. It's pretty exciting even tho it's still faint. Other than that, I registered for childbirth + infant care classes for March. Am excited to be off now for 2 short wks from school and will find out the sex Mon! Then we go to FL to relax, go to beach etc for a wk.

somewhat of a bump?..?
I think there might finally be visible (only for me + my hubby) proof there's a baby in there. When I pull the stomach fat flat, the lower stomach won't go flat + the part right above the pelvis bone looks more "pushed out". Exicting! Will get a photo tonite since we are dressing up for a Christmas party. Of course nobody will be able to tell more for at least 1 month. Will "sneak" in a bottle of sparking cider, since everyone else there will be having wine + be pretty much wasted on the manager's happy hr special..., the only non-alc. beverages are soda (I don't drink it) + coffee besides water! I need to be a little festive too! Good thing I got my sub lined up for May, it'll probably only be for 10 days but I wanted to get him booked now since he's the main sub for our dept, and the kids love him.
