Hey all! I just wanted to give a quick update. I went to the doctor on the 14th. The baby's heartbeat was 150. I have to have the glucose test next time and then sometime within the week after that, I have to have my rogham shot because my blood type is negative and Mike's is positive. We have been shopping like crazy for the baby's room. It is painted navy and we have bought the crib, changing table, chester drawers, curtains, rugs and a lamp. Mike made a bookshelf to hang on the wall. Everything is coming together. I am having a shower in May from my church and one in June in Lafayette. We are going on vacation in May and after that it is stay home for me! The hottest months are coming up! Take care everyone! love, Diana

3-13-08 I went to the dr. today for my ultrasound. I am 19 weeks and 1 day. We found out that we are having a baby boy!!! We are so excited because my sister-in-law just had a boy so they will only be about 5 months apart.
2008-02-19 (16 weeks)
15 weeks-Dr. Visit Well, today I went to the dr. and I didn't find out much new. I have gained a total of 8 lbs., which she said was fine, but I think is too much.(haha) The baby's heartbeat was 150 this time. I will have to have the Rhogam shot because I have a negative blood type and Mike's is positive. She said a shot at 28 weeks and then at delivery. Yuck, I hate shots! The most exciting thing this time is that we scheduled the sonogram for March 13, 2008, at 3:00. So we will be able to find out what we are having if the baby cooperates. I can't wait because then we will be able to pick out a paint color and furniture. And we can go register for all of the things we will need, (which is everything). Anyway, more to come later. 14 Weeks February 6, 2008 Well, this will be a short entry. I go back to the dr. next week so there will be more news then. I have been feeling pretty good still until today. We just got back from New York and the plane ride back was horrible. The turbulance really got to me 2 different times, and I thought I would be sick. Fortunately, I was able to hold it down, but I usually don't get sick on planes, so I definitely think it is baby related. Anyway, that is it for now, everything else is smooth sailing.
