Happy 1 wk Birthday Lauren!
~February 9th~
Little Miss Lauren is now 1wk old! Wow, I can hardly believe how time has flown by. She is so adorable & precious. I have a hard time setting her down for too long. She is an absolute doll-baby! Can you tell I'm so in love with her? And this is just me talking! You haven't seen my amazing husband with her or her grandparents. Everyone is so in awe of this precious little miracle. Praise God, she is such a blessing and we couldn't be more thankful for her presence in our lives.
We are adjusting nicely. The nights are a little rough due to me breastfeeding. I don't really want to get in the habit of her always being in bed with us, but its so much easier! (esp breastfeeding) She eats about every 2-3 hours so I try and rest as much as possible. As the saying goes, "sleep when they sleep" so thats what I try and do.
Lauren has been on 2 trips since we got home, "sams club" and today to IHOP & to do our taxes! She does really well. My prob is that I am not pumping enough to be out and about for long periods of time. And really thats my fault b/c the breast pump I got, I really don't like now! Guess I'm going to have to grin and bare it.
Our parents will be here this weekend (jason's mom & dad) and my just left last weekend. Love having family around! Everyone is so far away and we miss them terribly.
