Well, this past week we entered our 15th week.  Time is flying by so fast it seems?  Maybe I'm just anxious? So it seems like the 2nd trimester is giving me a run for my money.  The morning sickness that I happen to get around dinner time every night is really strong.  But I'll take it and not complain one bit.  As long as I feel sick it helps me with relief.  The relief of knowing that the baby inside of me continues to grow stronger everday.  I listened to the heartbeat earlier this week and it was the best sound ever, I love my doppler.  The heartbeat was strong and steady in the high 140's. 

This week I arrived in Alabama for some job training, I hate being away from Derrick for so long during this precious time but it just has to be done.  I'm hoping when I leave here in 5 more weeks that I'll have an obvious bump and Derrick will be so amazed and surprised.  The bump area isn't big yet.  I can see something forming or maybe it is just my imagination?  But it will appear soon enough .. boy am I ready. 

So next week is going to be another big marker, 16 wks or 4 months prego.  I can't believe it.  Each day I take my prenatals I still feel like it is a dream.  Oh wait it is, our dreams HAVE come true. 

Wow ... are we really here?  Are we really, 3 months pregnant?!  Derrick and I have traveled a long road to get where we are, we couldn't be happier.  I think it is actually starting to sink in ... sometimes.  My best-friend has given us some baby things so seeing those items in the house actually make it feel real; there is going to be a baby here soon.  We can't wait!

On Feb 21 I'll have my first OB appointment.  I think I'll just be checking in with the clinic and getting the paperwork out of the way.  We have another OB appointment on Feb 26 and I think (at least hoping) to have another u/s.  No worries ... I'll keep you updated.

This week has been the most eventful in the buisness of morning sickness.  My sickness tends to come around dinner time and is gone when I wake up in the morning.  I'm grateful as it shows me that baby is still growing and I assume all is well.  I just keep the saltines on hand and go with the flow.  In less than 24 hrs we will be one step closer to the end of the 1st trimester.  Time sure is flying ...
