First off, I'm sorry for not updating sooner than this but like I've said before ... Life is busy right now.  Everything on our end is great; baby moves all the time until Derrick trys to feel it and then the baby stops.  Soon though, I hope he is able to feel it, it is amazing.  

I can't believe that we are already 24 wks along, time is passing by way too fast.  I'm already thinking about when I'm not pregnant anymore, I'll miss this person moving around inside of me.  But it is a catch 22 sort of thing because instead the baby we've been hoping for for so long will be with us in person.  Hmm ... interesting how these things work out isn't it?

I'm slowly clearing out the spare bedroom getting things ready for the baby's stuff.  We already have the crib bedding, I can't wait for the furniture so that it all finally comes together.  I think Aug 29th is going to be here before you know it - Yippee! 

This is an amazing journey that I'm enjoying each and every second of every day.

We've started telling the little kids in our family that Auntie is having a baby.  So we point to my tummy and tell them that baby is inside.  Well my neice Emma tonight waved at baby and was telling him/her hello.  She then did the cutest thing in the whole world.  She bent down to my belly and kissed it ... she was given baby kisses.  My heart melted.
