The heartburn is gone for now and boy am I reliefed.  Nothing I took was getting rid of it, it kind of just dissolved itself you could say.  I had a Dr appt last week and it was decided that I'm pretty much going to have gestational hypertension.  My calves and feet are swollen to amazement and my blood pressure continues to stay slightly elevated.  Please keep us in your prayers that all continues to stay well. If puffy feet is the only thing that happens to me, I'm extremely grateful.  Oh and I'm taking some iron pills because I'm slightly anemic.  Other than those small things life is great.  My belly contiunes to amaze me.  I can't believe that my belly is stretching the way that it is.  Knock on wood, no stretch marks ... yet!  Over all I feel amazing, I love every second of being pregnant (can't wait to do it again someday - if God has it in his plans for us).

Home life has been busier than ever.  We are still trying to get the babies room cleaned out and slowly but surely set up.  I just ordered the crib last night and I'll probably order the changing table next week.  Things are starting to come together which makes me very happy since Derrick will be leaving in a few weeks.  The closet has baby stuff hanging in it and I could just stare at it all day long. I'm so in love and the baby isn't even here yet.

This weekend will be the baby shower I've been looking so forward too.  I'm flying home for the weekend to share with my family and friends my growing belly.  Also, it we will have a family and friends baby shower for those in Ohio.  I'm so excited to see everyone.  Tracy and my mom have been working so hard to get this showe together.  Derrick and I truly appreciate everything that everyone has done for us. Trust me, I'll post all about it when I get back next week.  

Okay, so really I'm kidding but dang ... it is the worst.  Nothing seems to be working and we are going into day 3.  I'll mention it to my Dr. on Thursday to see what they have to say about it.

So this weekend I swelled up like a balloon and I'm still swollen.  My legs and feet are so tight and not good on the eyes.  But no complaints here, I'm working with it.  I've stopped wearing my wedding rings and watches about a week ago.  I'd hate to not be able to get them off one day.

Another thing going on these days is my blood pressure was somewhat elevated a few weeks ago and the Dr. has been watching it.  Again, I'll know more about it on Thursday.  I can't wait to see how much weight I've gained since last month.  I'm pretty sure my belly has popped so it will be interesting to see if I've gained.

Tomorrow is 26 wks and we are thrilled.  Baby is moving all over the place and with my belly actually starting to look pregnant I'm over the moon with excitement.  We have waiting for this moment and it is finally here.   

So today is 25 weeks, where has the time gone?  These days the baby is really busy both day and night ... I (we) love it.  Derrick was able to finally feel the baby move on Mother's Day.  It was such a great feeling for him to be able to feel what I've been feeling for so long.  It is still odd to me sometimes to sit and think about what is actually going on in my tummy; there is an actual person in there moving around.  But I sit there in awe every time it happens.

We found out this week that Derrick is going to be leaving in mid June through Mid August for some Air Force training in Mississippi.  Looks like it will be me flying solo for the end of the pregnancy.  I need all the prayers in the world that the baby stays put until Derrick gets home.  He can't miss this day after all we've been through, I'd be completely lost and empty without him. 

But in the mean time we are together going to read stories to the baby in the belly so that he/she can have something to remember his/her daddy by while he is gone.

Today was an eventful day for sure.  Derrick and I went to Babies-R-Us to register and talk about over whelming.  There was so much to look at and chose from that we were there for almost 3 hours.  It was a great time for Derrick and I, we both selected items and he was the one with the gun, zapping everything.  It was a good day but so tiring at the same time.
