The first time I felt you kick:
I felt the baby move a little after 16 weeks. Super early! At first I wasn't sure, but after my doctor asked me if I could feel anything its frequency started picking up and it became obvious.

It felt like:
I felt flutters (small tickles) and occasionally some small bubbles. A few days later I had what people call popcorn, where there were a whole bunch of flutters and small taps at once. So that sealed the deal for me that it was really happening.

I felt:
Excited that the fun part of pregnancy was starting!
|
|
| |
The strangest food craving I've had is:
Everything salty! Phillies! Ice cream!

This month's prenatal visit taught me that:
The 16 week appt taught me that the is a very wide range of what is considered normal so you shouldn't freak out so easily.

My hopes:
I'm really hoping that the kicks get strong fast.
|
|
| |
My fears:
Some days I don't feel the baby move a lot. I know it's because it will turn itself in a position so I can't feel it. And that it's totally normal, especially in the beginning, to have days like that, but it still makes you wonder if everything is ok sometimes. So it so wonderful when the next kick comes along!
