WEEK 15
This has been a very busy week. Monday started out by Kevin leaving for Washington. Tuesday I had a doctor's appointment and got to (finally) meet our OB doctor. He was great and funny. Katharine came with me. He did disney voices for her like Mickey Mouse and Pooh Bear and Tweety bird. I scheduled our ultrasound for Friday May 23rd! Yea. My mom will be in town too. I'll only be 18 1/2 weeks.... shh! don't tell the nurse.
Mom came to town Thursday.
Friday morning Katharine had a wonderful mother's day program for me at school in her classroom. It was amazing. She had placemats and corsages she made and tea bags. She served me stawberries, muffins cookies and punch. The punch Katharine really liked and had 3 glasses. The class sang songs (they worked so hard on this... I could tell). They had several things that they wrote about us moms and they read them to the class. Adorable! Thank you Katharine for a wonderful mothers day!
Friday evening we went to the Nashville Sounds baseball game. Katharine won a ticket and will be in a kids parade for fullfilling their reading program. It was 8 weeks long and they had to read 8 books every 2 weeks for 8 weeks. The parade was a blast. The game was great! We won!! Katharine and the mascot Ozzie had a fun time high-fiving each other. There were fireworks after the game and Katharine and all the other kids under 12 got to run the bases! Such fun!
Saturday we rested and went shopping for Maternity clothes. |
