Wow! Week 6 was very interesting!  I went to Vanderbilt twice for lab work for my thyroid and the baby. All is well, but they did change my thyroid medicine already.

Kevin made it back from Kansas even with the weather and brought some dorothy and wizard of oz stuff back for Katharine, she missed her daddy.

Wednesday was a SNOW DAY from school. Katharine went to Nashville with me and it took us 3 hours instead of 50 minutes because of an accident. We opened the sun roof and it snowed in the car! It was a fun memory. We had our appointments and went to the mall to eat and get clothes from build a bear workshop.

Thursday we went to Chuck E Cheese for school spirit night. It was fun and the pizza was yummy.

Friday some people came over and I made manicotti for dinner. It was good. Katharine enjoyed the noodles and she was an ANGEL!

Saturday was Katharine's half birthday. She is 6 1/2 now! So we took her to see a movie. It was a fun day. The weather was kinda nice too! I'm tired of all the snow!

I'm feeling ickey! My tummy is crampy and my prenatal medicine makes my tummy feel bloated and full under my ribs! Yuck! It isn't very comfortable to sleep.  Still no sickness yet, i'm a little tired, but nothing too bad!

We have had a very busy week. Kevin left for Kansas for a few days and my Mom is still visiting. Katharine had a fun roller skating birthday party to go to and she is getting better on her skates. We went to Ruby Tuesday's afterward for dinner. It was yummy. I love their salad bar!

Katharine kissed the baby goodbye on Tuesday morning before she went to school. It was the cutest thing ever. She is a very caring big sister. I then took my Mom to Nashville and she is on her way back to NC. While I was in Nashville I went to Vanderbilt to have my thyroid levels checked. They are normal, but I'll be going to an endocrinologist for further montoring while i'm expecting.

On Thursday we had a 1 hour delay from school due to ice.

We had a fun weekend. On Friday we ate dinner with some friends of ours (her hubby is in afghanistan) and katharine and i rented a movie and pulled out the sofa bed. we had a sleep over and watched The Game Plan. She painted my fingernails pink and we had a fun girls night in. On Saturday, we just hung out at home and went to see Alvin and the Chimpmunks at the movie theater. It was a lot better than I thought it would be. 

I am great. My tummy is still pinchy and bloatey. I went to spin class a few times this week with the new heart rate monitor i bought to keep me in check while exercising. It is doing a great job.

Kevin has called a few times and is working hard and isn't really enjoying the snow and freezing or sould i say below freezing temps.

What a whirlwind week we had. We found out that we were expecting baby No. 2 after our first month.

My mom came to visit for the weekend. I helped out with the Valentines Day party in Katharine's classroom. Kevin and I went to an Army Ball.

We told our family and closest friends about the baby. Everyone is so excited for us!

Katharine can not wait to be a big sister and she is already "listening" to my tummy.

No cravings yet, no sickness and not too tired yet, just yawning a lot ( i'm really not a yawner... i get plenty of sleep).

I feel good except being a little bloated and full feeling in my tummy. I didn't feel that with Katharine, so already i'm thinking boy! Only time will tell!

Well, It's official! We are having a baby! Kevin said that he knew... how could he know before me? Mom jumped up and down and screamed and Dad was just tickeled pink.

People are calling us and sending us emails! It has been a really great day!

Only 248 days till we meet our little bunde of joy!

We can't wait!
