7 months now At Rae's last appointment she weighed 14 pounds 4 ounces. On the 18th of last month I was going slowly down the steps bare foot when I fell down 2 steps with Rae. She hit her forehead and had a bump and bruise. She's fine though. I took the brunt of the fall hurting my finger and back. I'm fine now too. Rae's on amoxicillan because her left ear was red inside. She is getting over a cold. Rae says hi and dada. Hi was her first word. She sounds so cute!

My lil pumkin's 6 months :-( I can't believe she's at the halfway mark to a year. Well, a lots been going on. RaeAnna's teething, the last appointment at 5 months she weighed 12 lbs 13 oz, she can go backward and forward in her walker and roll all over the living room and into the kitchen, she can hold her own bottle for a few minutes but she likes to put it in her mouth and take it out and she sat up on her own twice last week. Her 6 month appointment is tomorrow. She'll get shots and everything but this is when the doctors going to tell us to start her on baby food. This will be fun and interesting at the same time. I'll update when I get new info from her doctor's appointment.

new news RaeAnna rolled over from her back to her belly. She's also been in the walker. Her feet can barely touch the floor but her head is strong enough to stay up. She tries to sit up on her own. At her last appointment she weighed 11 pounds 14 ounces but the doctor said she's in the 20th percentile. Her height was 24 1/4 inches. Her head circumference was 39.5cm. She laughs out loud more like a real laugh. She might have to go to the doctor's tomorrow because she has a cold. She has a runny/stuffy nose and isn't eating very much so I don't know if she has a sore throat. Nothing makes her happy right now. I can't believe how fast she's growing. I want to get pregnant again but I know I wouldn't be able to enjoy her learning new things. I figure when RaeAnna's 2 we'll try again. I also know that getting pregnant means heparin shots again. Ouch! I would also have to get the iud removed. I run out of medical insurance on 11-30-06. But not getting pregnant right now is for the best. RaeAnna will still have insurance through medicaid. My husband lost his job so that's why she'll be on medicaid. I cut RaeAnna's nails for the first time a week ago. Before my mom was doing them because I was nervous.

Much awaited update RaeAnna was put on Zantac for acid reflux. I've only had to use it though maybe 4-5 times and she hates it! She rolled over for the first time from her belly to her back on October 14th. That's her daddy's birthday and he got to see her roll over but I missed it. She can't roll over from her back to her belly yet but she can roll onto both of her sides. RaeAnna had a 3 month appointment which was a follow up after being put on Zantac. She weighed 10 pounds 14 ounces. On the 14th of November she'll have her 4 month appointment and she'll get shots. Also she's been sucking on her hands a lot and bites down pretty good too. I think she's starting to teethe. When RaeAnna's 4 months old which is in a couple of weeks she'll start having cereal. RaeAnna laughs outs loud now too. Her baby acne's gone and she barely has any cradle cap left. Her nails have to be cut often because she's always scratching her face. Unfortunately, though she won't keep the mittens on her hands. I think she has to get her nails cut about 2 times a week they grow so fast! I had an IUD put in on the 27th of September. My bleeding is messed up probably from the hormones. I spot for a few days then I start my period and it's light then heavier then light again and then back to the spotting. I've probably been spotting/bleeding for 2 weeks now. I get a pain in my left side down low in the abdomen when I'm on my period. The doctor had me get an ultrasound just in case. The ultrasound didn't show anything. So either my body is still going back to normal and that's why I have the pain or I might have endometriosis. So we'll see what it is eventually. I don't know if the doctor will do further testing. |
