my baby girl's growing up
RaeAnna is now trying to stand up from a crawling position and trying to pull herself up to a standing position from the furniture. She gets her butt just a little bit off the ground and that's it. She's making me a nervous wreck! She's also having a little bit of constipation problems. Darrell's finally got a job. He'll be training next week and then he'll be actually working and getting paid the next week. This job came just in time because his unemployment end this week. So we'll get 1 check this week and then 1 check in 2 weeks.

more news
First off I want to send my thoughts and prayers to the Virginia Tech victims families and friends as well as the people who were injured.
RaeAnna had her doctor's appointment on the 16th. Rae is slowing down in her growth right now. She's 27 and 3/4" long, 16lbs 7oz, and her head circumference is 43cm. The doctor's not too concerned but wants me to feed her a little more baby food. She also wants Rae to start finger foods. So I tried the gerber puffs like the doctor recommended and Rae started choking on it. Thankfully it melted in her throat but it scared me to death! I don't think she's ready yet. She only has 2 bottom teeth and gags when I feed her thicker foods. So I'm going to wait for a week or 2 and try again. Rae had to go to the eye doctor yesterday. In dim light her eyes are dilated differently. One's a little bigger then the other. She was really good at the eye doctor's. I was so happy because this doctor does the InfantSee program so we didn't have to pay. The InfantSee program covers children 12 months and under. Anyway the doctor said Rae is far sighted which is normal in babies. He also said she has a slight astigmatism. He said both eyes would be the same prescription. He's not going to do anything with her eyes now. He wants to see her in 6 months to see if she gets better, worse or stays the same. Then he will decide what he's going to do. Today is our WIC appointment. Then hopefully we'll be done with appointments for a while unless it's a job interview.

crawling
My baby's crawling now finally! She does an army crawl and she also scoots on her butt to get to where she wants to go. The other day Darrell kissed RaeAnna and said kissed ya. It sounded like she said kissed ya twice. We couldn't believe it!

learning new things
RaeAnna clapped her hands today without anyone helping her. She also mimics us. I said dog and pointed to our dogs and she said "Dah" trying to say dog. She has been saying yeah today too. Today RaeAnna, Darrell, my mom, Logan and I all went to go visit grandma in Bay City. Grandma was so happy to see us she cried. RaeAnna's not been doing very good last night into today. She's not been drinking as much bottle as she usually does and she didn't sleep well last night. She's also been really fussy today. I'm thinking she's getting another tooth. RaeAnna is being distructful too. When she was 6 months old she pulled off the tassle to my mom's doiley like thing. Today she pulled the bear off of her walker where the beaded rollercoaster like thing is. We can't get the bear back on she broke it. What a little stinker!
