learning, learning, learning.... RaeAnna has been doing a lot of new things. First with the bad stuff, she has temper tantrums! Also I think Daylight Savings Time messed her up unless she's teething because her whole sleep schedule is messed up. She won't fall asleep at night until 12:30am or even as late as 1:30am! Then she wants to sleep until 1 or 2pm. So then her naptime is later. I wish she'd get back on track. Now for the good stuff :-) Rae is saying more words. She can say mommy, money, bunny, no way and belly. The word she says the most is money lol. The other day I had RaeAnna laughing really hard. Today I tried having RaeAnna use a spoon. She got 2 spoonfuls in her mouth all by herself! After awhile she wanted me to feed her. I can't believe how big my baby girl is getting. She's already 16 months! In 2 more months she would be old enough to go in the toddler room I used to work in. That just amazes me!

doctor's appointment update At RaeAnna's appointment today, she got 3 shots. 1 was DTaP the other was HIB and the last one was Pneumococcal Conjugate. RaeAnna cried but did really well with her shots. RaeAnna weighs 19 pounds 9 ounces (10%), height 30 1/2 inches (75%) and head circumference is 44.4cm. The doctor observed RaeAnna walking. She wanted to see it. She also said to let RaeAnna be barefoot when she's at home. She said it doubles the arches of her feet.Whatever that means lol.

updating finally RaeAnna just got her bottom right molar on the 11th. So now she has all of her 1 year molars. Altogether she has 10 teeth so we're at the half way mark as far as teething goes. I swear those molars are worse than the regular teeth. She acts worse but I know it's gotta be hurting her. I had to laugh tonight/this morning which is why I'm up. I heard RaeAnna in her room clapping and one of her favorite songs "Funkytown" was playing lol. So I got up and changed her diaper. I'm still waiting for her to go to sleep. I can't go and lay down because I will just lay there awake if she's up and clapping and making noise. So before I wrote this I unloaded and loaded the dishwasher. Today is Darrell's 30th birthday. We're probably going to celebrate with just him and I next weekend. We would've this weekend but my mom's gone on vacation. We celebrated his birthday as a family, my parents included this past Tuesday. This past Thursday, RaeAnna had an eye doctor appointment where she had her eyes dilated. This doctor didn't see really anything wrong whereas the last eye doctor a few months ago said she had a stigmatism. So this new eye doctor wants to see her when she turns 2. I personally liked the other eye doctor better. He made Donald Duck noises and kept RaeAnna occupied. At this last eye appointment he looked at Rae's optical nerve so Darrell and I had to hold her down while she was screaming and crying because the doctor was shining a bright light after her eyes were dilated. It was so hard on me to see her that way. I just wanted to take her pain away. She was worse with that eye appointment then she is with getting her shots. On Monday, RaeAnna has a regular doctor appointment and on Thursday she has a WIC appointment. So I will update on those things soon. Well, I think she went to sleep (I hope) so I'm going to try and get some sleep myself.

molars Yesterday I noticed that RaeAnna's bottom gums looked swollen. So I started feeling around in her mouth and found that she has 2 molars on the top one on the left side and one on the right. The one on the right is newly popped through but the other one's been out a little longer. So now I know why RaeAnna's been throwing a fit lately and not sleeping as good. Today my mom trimmed RaeAnna's bangs since they were getting long. We got her little hair clippings saved in a bag to put in her baby book.
