2 month appointment RaeAnna had her 2 month appoinment. She weighed 10 pounds! She's still 22 inches long and I have no idea what her head circumference was because they didn't tell me. Her height's still 75%, weight's 25% and head circumference is 25%. She got 3 shots and did surprisingly well. I held her little hands and talked to her and gave her kisses while she was getting her shots. Darrell was also by her and talking to her. She got 2 shots in 1 leg and 1 in the other. For the 2 shots she cried and held her breath. After she was done getting shots we gave her a pacifier and she was quiet. Now she doesn't go back to the doctor's for another 2 months unless she's sick. I got my blood drawn and I haven't heard back from the doctor yet so that's good. Hopefully everything turned out ok and I won't hear from him. RaeAnna is being really cute these days. She smiles when you smile at her or talk to her. She's also making little noises almost like cooing. She's still doing good with tummy time scooting a little. She has yet to roll over though. Also a few days ago I stopped pumping since my milk supply was basically almost gone anyway. Plus it was too hard to pump all the time after feeding Rae since I wasn't getting much sleep anyway. So now she's strictly on formula.

me and baby I'm off of heparin now and have to get my blood drawn next week. I'm also having testing done to check my thyroid and kidneys. It's basically a routine check up. Once I get my blood drawn I can go on a baby aspirin a day. I won't have to see Dr. Shah unless my blood work shows a problem. I got approved for the IUD called Paragard. I can't get it put in until I start my period and then it's put in while I'm on my period. Yesterday Rae was screaming when given a bottle and gas drops weren't helping. She was taken to the doctors and the doctor said it was just gas and to give her a 1/2 ml 2 times a day of mylanta. So far she's been fine. Rae is smiling when she sees someone smiling. She's also grabbing things with her hands more.

1st time without my little girl Tonight is the first night with Rae. My parents took her for the night so I can get some sleep. Rae was very demanding yesterday and it was hard to get any pumping done or even give myself my shot of heparin. My neck was also hurting me real bad yesterday. My dad watched Rae so my mom, Darrell and I could can tomatoes. Of course she was really good and slept quite a bit. I wonder if she'll be up most of the night for them as she is for us. Even though she is getting better about sleeping in the night. She sleeps for 2-3 hours usually at night now where it seemed that she only slept for 1 1/2 hours before. Also she usually goes back to sleep now after being changed and fed. Where before I had to try and get her back to sleep. I was so tired tonight that I went to sleep between 11:30 and 12:00. Usually I stay up practically all night so in case Rae wakes up she doesn't wake my husband up since he works. The only reason I'm up right now at almost 3:30 is because I had to pump and give myself a shot of heparin. While I had the time and was thinking about it I wanted to update my blog. So far I'm doing fine without having Rae here. I know she's in good hands. But I do know if I had to leave her for days while I went on a vacation I would cry. When my husband and I went to Arizona for me to meet his parents I cried when I left our dog Jackie. When we went on our honeymoon I cried when we left Jackie and Spunky. I knew they would be ok and be in good hands but I have a hard time with separation when it's several days I'll be without them. My mom said I've always had a hard time with separation. When I was in preschool and kindergarten I cried when my mom left.

My sweet baby girl Rae had her 1 month appointment on Monday. She weighed 8lbs 13oz and the doctor said she was in the 40th percentile for weight where she was only in the 10th percentile when she was born. Her height was 22 inches and she's in the 75th percentile so the doc said she's a tall baby. She takes after her daddy. Her head circumference was 36.3cm which means she's in the 40th percentile for that. Her next appointment is 9-12 and I'm not looking forward to it because she'll be getting a lot of shots. Thursday morning Rae scared me because she projectile vomitted 3 times. It turns out that she must've just had a bubble since she didn't throw up after that. Darrell's parents are both back in Arizona now. His mom was such a big help. I got some much needed sleep. Now I wish she was here because I'm not getting much sleep now :-( The only other new thing going on is Rae's got baby acne all on her face, neck and head. I feel so bad for her! My 6 week ob/gyn appointment is tis coming Monday and my primary care physician appointment to hopefully get off the heparin is Wednesday. If he takes me off the heparin I will have to go back in 2 weeks to get my blood checked.
