What I least expected with this pregnancy was:
How crazy my body feels and is changing. At 13 weeks my pants were too tight and everything was so low. Now it is all up high and I can wear my pre-pregnancy jeans. But, i am definitly growing in the top of my stomach.

The best bit of advice I've received is:
Oh, I'm not sure. I guess not to let myself worry too much.

What has changed the most in my life with this pregnancy is:
I am taking insulin shots. I am so much more aware of the things I want to change in my life, for the better, to be better ready to be someone's mother. Just simple things really, like being more organized, but still.

What made me realize that I was really pregnant was:
Seeing the ultrasound pictures and hearing the heartbeat. I just can't wait to feel the baby move.

This month's ultrasound was:
Super amazing!!! I was so surprised at the way the baby looks. SO much bigger, and I could see all the bones. He looked like a little skeleton! AND YES, I did say he! They saw what the ultra-sound tech said was "a little pointy thing between the legs."

At my prenatal visit this month I discovered that:
My baby is a little Kolin William Weigle! That my uterus and the baby are growing right on track. That I am doing excellant on my weight gain (only about 2 or 3 pounds so far). And that my sugar will go nuts over the rest of the pregnancy so I will have to check my sugar 5 to 7 times a day. Oh, and my pee is great.

| |
My hopes:
That this pregnancy continues going as great as it is so far.
|
|
| |
My fears:
This isn't really a fear, just something I am not looking forward to: the 24 hour urine test. Yup, you read that right, I get to collect my pee in a jug for a 24 hour time period. Woo-hoo.
