Measuring a Little Small

Well, I had my ultrasound this morning.  The doctor thought I was measuring small and wanted to check on her by another ultrasound.  She is measuring a week behind, but still very healthy!  She is currently 6 lbs. and I have 3 more weeks to go.  So, she should be at a healthy weight when she decides to come into this world!

We are still planning on going to Bloomington for Thanksgiving.  I asked the doctor if I should go that far, since they recommend I stay within an hour radius of the hospital.  He said he would leave that decision up to me, but has been told to tell me not to travel.  He said if I go into labor, then there is no stopping it...we're going to have a baby!  However, I do feel really good and feel she will wait until closer to her due date.  If not, then it will be a very exciting and memorable Thanksgiving!!

Mommy is starting to sew again!
Well, I haven't sewn since high school, but thought I would get back at it.  There are a couple things I wanted to try to make, so I started out with a runner for the dresser.  It is pink with a black stitch.  I thought it turned out pretty cute!!  Once I get a few more things organized in her room, then I will post some pictures.  I plan on making her bumper pad, so I'm a little more nervous on making that one.  We haven't gotten the crib back from being refinished, so I have a little time.  Well...guess I only have 6 weeks left!!!  The clock is ticking!  She'll be here very soon!  Well, I need to get busy, so until next time!!

Hiccups!

I went to my 8 month check-up this week.  You are healthy as can be!  The doctor checked your heartbeat to find you had the hiccups!  You were so cute!  We would get a good heartbeat going, then you would start the hiccups again!  It was so sweet.  The doctor said your head is still down and I can testify to that!  You have a strong kick to my ribs about daily.  I can also feel your little arms down low.  You still like to play with my bladder.  I'll be fine then all the sudden I need to go...NOW!  I can't wait to see what you look like!  December can't come fast enough!
