 She's finally arrived...
After going to the Dr. on the 27th and them telling me that I was only 1 cm dialated and that nothing had changed, wouldn't you know that I went into labor that very night. Contractions were on and off all day but I started timing them at 8:05 and they kept coming. We headed to the hospital and arrived around 11:00 pm and for what was about to the the longest I've labored with any of my kids. By 3:57 pm the next day Alexis finally arrived. She weighed 5 lbs 6 oz, 18 inches long and a full head of hair. The labor was extremely intense as my epidural wore off about 2 hours before I had her and the meds were not getting pumped in. Definately the most difficult delivery I've ever had but so well worth it. We're so happy to have our little bundle home with us now. |
