Pregnancy Journal

I love 9 months!  It is such a wonderful age! 

Sage is still a little bubba, not yet walking.. but he is developing and interacting.  He shows he understands what I say and in his own little way tells me what he wants and needs.

Today he lifted his hands and twinkled to 'twinkle twinkle'!  My heart leapt with joy!!! So cute!

We've got lots of little games he loves.  He loves to be chased, crawling on hands and knees.  He loves to be the chaser!  He looks reading his touch and feel book and goes straight to all the touch bits as I turn each new page.  He hids and plays peak a boo behind his bibs and towels. He puts the blue box in the jar over and over again.  He loves cuddles, and will often offer one when asked.

He is just DELIGHTFUL!

I am having soo much fun with him.

He is super needy and wants to be cuddle all the time.  He doesn't like it when I leave him in the room alone, he wants to go everywhere I go and often lifts his little arms to be picked up... but I just love it..

He's a happy baby that is really bringing so much joy into our lives.

It's been such a long time since I have written here... In that time Sage has..

Grown 4 teeth.

Learnt how to sit up, crawl (commando style), pull to standing (infrequently).

Play shy boy.  (Hiding his face coyling whilst smiling).

Feed himself (messily).

Drink from a sippy cup (again messily).

Throw toys out of the bath and pull himself up and over the edge to reach for them, only to throw them back out again and restart the whole cycle.

Sleep without his dummy.

Follow me all around the house.

Open the bathroom drawers.

In general he is a very happy baby (I guess most are).  He is very vocal in trying to communicate his wants and needs.  He likes to climb all over me whenever possible.  He is rough and tumble.  Interested in interacting with strangers and becoming increasingly flirty.. smiling, playing shy boy etc (all with strangers, usually the check out chick).  He loves his neieces and nephews and seems to have a real sense of humour.  He is becoming increasinly more cuddly and LOVES his Daddy.  He turns his head towards the front door whenever he hears the keys in the afternoon and continues to follow his Dad's every step until he picks him up.

And now I hear him waking... (yelling - I AM AWAKE MUM, COME GET ME, NOW!)

Oh and he is a cat napper.. great. 45 minute day naps... What fun!
