Nothing new!

I thought that I would have something new and exciting going on every week to write about, but things have been pretty calm here!  I'm not complaining!  Although I am getting afraid that I will feel the wrath during my next pregnancy since this one hasn't been too bad.

Other than being very tired I've been very emotional the past few weeks.  I have cried A LOT about things from movies, work, etc.  I have never cried this much and I am an emotional person to start with!  I did start getting a bad vein in my left leg so my leg gets tired after running around the office during the day.  Also, I've never been a chocolate person but I'm starting to like it daily now!

Oh yeah-I have been feeling the baby move more and more!  Definitely not every day yet, but I have had some swimming in the stomach.  I don't think the baby likes the vacuum either b/c it was moving around a lot when the custodian was vacuuming at work!  :)  Hopefully Brad can feel it soon too!

Countdown to next ultrasound:  4 more days!  Cross your fingers that the girl/boy parts will be in the right place to be visible!  I'll write on Monday!

P.S.  Aunt T-Tried to take a picture of my belly and because of the size restraints I could only get my belly in the picture and it makes me look like a whale.  I have to dress cute next week for some events so I'll hopefully get a good one next week!  :)

Maternity Clothes

It finally happened.  I had to go shopping for the scary looking maternity clothes.  I received this advice from a co-worker last week:  "I can't recommend moving to maternity pants early enough - once you stop struggling with the rubber band and put on a comfortable pair of maternity pants, you'll be much happier!".  Since I'm now to the stage where I am using the rubber band on my work pants and 2 pairs of jeans I figured it was time.

I went yesterday to motherhood maternity and had some "fun" trying on the clothes.  I don't have much luck with pants normally, so shopping for maternity pants wasn't much different.  I did find 2 pairs of work pants and 2 cute tops.  I also found a skirt.  I'm excited for summer b/c they have lots of skirts/dresses and comfy looking summery pants that I would like to buy once it warms up.  As far as maternity jeans, they were all VERY scary looking.  Instead I got this thing that kinda turns your pants into maternity pants.  I'll hopefully be able to use it for awhile!

:)

Newest Advice / Oops!

I've recently told most of the people at work that I work with on a daily basis.  One guy had the following advice:  'Get as much sleep now as you can because once you have kids sleep is a luxury, not a neccessity!'  I seem to be doing fine with that but Brad's having trouble sleeping mainly due to my snoring and stuffy noses.  (Both are something that happen to pregnant women!)  Sorry Brad!

I JUST found out that Ceasar Dressing has raw egg in it!  Shoot!  I'm not supposed to have anything with lunchmeat or raw eggs because of the risk of getting an infection due to the listeria bacteria in the food.  :(  I'm stopping now!

Doc Appointment
Had my most recent check-up yesterday and everything is going well.  I was able to hear the heartbeat again so that is always reassuring.  I said that I wouldn't let my one "issue" freak me out, but it still does sometimes.  Any other symptoms I am feeling (runny nose, headache, etc.) are all normal.  II'm gaining the normal amount of weight and my blood pressure was normal too.  So far any tests for diabetes have turned out negative.  I have my next ultrasound appointment scheduled for March 24th which will be a very exciting date.  We will hopefully get to find out the sex that day!  :)  I have a feeling that I will not be able to concentrate at work that day!  :)
