14 weeks 4 days
I am 14 weeks 4 days into my second pregnancy.
This time, I'm doing it in the right order. i.e. meet man, get married, have baby. lol
My daughter FAPR is 12.....12! Yes it's been over 12 years since I've been pregnant and quite frankly, I remember nothing.
First, other than some sore breasts I've had no symptoms. No morning sickness, zero zilch NADA. Also, I am not showing at all. To be honest if t weren't for the ultrasound at my first appointment, and the eventual find of the heartbeat with a doppler at my second appointment I'd think I was not pregnant at all.
Just a side note, someone should tell you when they are about to use a doppler, that 1. it could take a VERY long time to find the heartbeat. 2. They may have to jam it into your lower stomach in order to find it. and 3. you should probably let the Mom know the speed of the heartbeat....just in case she's so freaked out she forgets to ask.
I told my job at 12 weeks. It went pretty well. I'm a bit torn about what I'm going to do, as I do not have Maternity leave, but do have short term Disability. I wonder how long I can stay on STD? I got to stay home with my daughter for 2 years....I can't imagine going back to work when the new babe is just 6 weeks old. :(
First and formost, I'd like to either show, or feel the baby. Up until then, I'm going to do insane wondering if the baby is okay.
