I must have been really sick this weekend. I was sick all day on Friday and then throwing up sushi all night that night. I couldn't even move Saturday and then felt much better on Sunday. I must have had the flu or a virus.
I picked up my medicine from Walgreens that was $389 but dont worry, my insurance is going to reimburse me all of it. I started taking the Zophran during the day and then the phenegran that was prescribed for me for Ansley at night before I go to bed. It makes me really drowsy and helps me get a good nights rest. I feel much better today although after I eat a heavy meal for lunch or dinner, I feel sick. I try not to take my medicine every day. I saw on the news today that they are linking caffeine with miscarriages. I was having a cup of coffee once or twice a week so I am going to stop that.
Ansley is so cute. She sees me changing and she points to my belly and says "baby belly".
She is going to be such a good sister.
As far as my food cravings, I can't get enough of veggies and ranch dip or mexican. I could eat chips and salsa 24 hours a day.

Monday, January 14, 2008 (9 weeks) Well, this last week has been rough. I was so sick every day and as the week went on, it got worse. Ansley's birthday party was Saturday and at around 3 pm, I got so sick and was worse all day yesterday, especially on the ride home. I woke up this morning feeling just as bad. I can eat all day and it does not help. I tried buying the sea bands and those didn't help. I went onto my mommy group site and Amber who is a week behind me said her doctor prescribed Zophran so I called my doctor and she prescribed some for me. I am going to pick it up after work. Yeah! I hope it works. For Ansley, Dr. Ronen prescribed me some medicine but I gagged at the thought of swallowing it so I never took it.

Well, the morning sickness is unbearable. I wake up in the morning and have to nibble on my 2 saltines. Then I make my self shower usually resulting in screwing my hair up in a twist with a headband. If I have to change a poopy diaper before I leave, I gag at least twice. Then when I get to work, I eat a poptart or toast and some fruit. I have to eat again around 10 and then lunch at noon. I start getting really sick around 2. Yesterday, it seemed as if it were not that bad...I did half of my ironing and didn't have to lay on the couch all night. But today, it is definitely the worse so far. I keep thinking I need to gag myself to throw up but am too lazy and sick to get up to go down the hall to the bathroom. Okay, tired of talking about being sick. Let's talk about how I am already seeing my belly getting thicker. I have found that I love to eat: rice and gravy or rice and beans, mashed potatoes, minute maid fruit punch. I hate to eat greasy like sausage and gravy. Ugh!

So here we go again. I found out I was pregnant on December 14th. We miscarried the previous month so I decided to wait a little while to tell everyone. I only told Alyce, Dane, Janay and Jessica. I started spotting on Sunday, the 16th and Monday the 17th. Then it stopped. I made an appt with Dr. Pierce at the Memorial location on Thursday, December 20th. I went to the appt and they did blood work and said that she wanted to see me again in 2 days but because of the holidays, I had to push the appt back to the following week. She did the normal exam and said everything looks normal for now.
I made my appt for Friday, December 28th.
When I started spotting, I told Ross to tell his mom becuase I wanted her to know what was going on. He told her and said that if everything goes okay, we want to announce it at Robbie's on xmas eve. We went to Lafayette Christmas and did annouce the baby on Christmas eve to the Addotto Family. I had a surprise also--Diana is 10 days further along than me. Yeah! We told my family by letting Ansley wearing her Big Sister shirt to my mom's. They were excited!
We left to go home on Wednesday, December 26th and then Mimi passed away on the 27th. We drove back to Lafayette for the weekend and I canceled my appt and rescheduled it for Monday, the 31st.
I went to my appt and it took 5 mins to get the blood and then headed to work.
As far as how I feel, I have been starving and feel like my stomach is a bottomless pit that needs to be fed every 3 hours. I have been nauseous but no vomiting.
