I went back to the doctor on June 10th for a regular check up and had gained 2 more lbs so I was up to 22 lbs. She said that when I hit 35 weeks, they will do a culture and then start checking me every week after that. I have been extremely tired.
I went back to the doctor again on June 24th and had blood work drawn for iron deficiency. I had gained another 2 lbs and I was up to 24 lbs. I had my baby shower in Lafayette on Saturday, June 14th. It was perfect. It was a luncheon at Serrano's and I received all types of stuff that I needed, like diapers and wipes.
I go back to the doctor tomorrow for my regular check up and then back on the 15th.
I received a phone call from my nurse stating that I need to start taking iron pills but I can't seem to make myself take them.

It has been about 5 weeks since I have written so I have a lot to talk about. I went back to the doctor on May 6th and had to do my glucola test. Everything was fine. I had gained another 5 lbs so I was up to 17 lbs. She said she wants to start seeing me every 3 weeks but she is going to be out of town in 3 weeks so she made my appt for 2 weeks on the 20th.
I went back to the doctor on the 20th and had gained another 3 lbs so I am up to 20 lbs. The heartbeat sounded great and I made an appt to go back in 3 weeks on the 10th. I have a dermatologist appt on the 5th.
I have been feeling so big lately...it is getting hard for me to do things. I have a little over 11 weeks left but it feels like a lifetime. Mrs. Cheryl got the Little Sister and Big Sister shirts she ordered for Avarie and Ansley and they are too adorable. I can't wait to put them in them. We painted the furniture in the room and put up Jennifer's crib. Everything looks so good. Someone is giving us a changing table so all we have left to buy for furniture is the dresser.

Two days ago, Ross was able to really feel the baby move. He put his hand on my belly and felt it kick about 4 times. I have been feeling really good...starting to get harder to move around. I can't believe I have less than 17 weeks left. My next appt is on Tues, May 6th and Diana also has her glucola test on the same day.
We bought our baby bedding for Avarie's room. I got it off of ebay for $30 and $20.95 for shipping from Baby Bedding. It is red and cream toile. I will attach the pic.
2008-04-10 (21 weeks)
Thursday, April 10, 2008 (21 weeks, 2 days) I went to the doctor on Tuesday and had an ultrasound done of Avarie and everything was perfect. I gained another 2 lbs in the last 4 weeks so I am up to 12 lbs total. Not so bad! I have been craving lots of sweets lately...Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls are my favorite. I have been eating a lot of tuna at work for lunch. I feel good and my belly is very round now. It is getting harder for me to hold Ansley although she doesn't understand. I have only been getting up once a night to pee which isn't so horrible...it is usually around 3 in the morning. Ansley left today to go to Lafayette with Donna until Sunday. I am going to go to Barnes and Noble tomorrow and get me a book to read over the weekend and just relax. I go back to the doctor in 4 weeks on May 6th to do my glucola test and my regular check up. At night, we started walking around the block with Ansley and Ozzie. I need to get my lazy butt off of the couch. LOL
