Anxiety about the caesarean and having to stay in recovery without Daddy or Lucy for half an hour. Also the delay beforehand, we were supposed to go in at 4:30 pm!

What surprised me most about the delivery experience was:
the support and compassion of my obstetrician, he made me feel like I wasn't alone when Daddy couldn't be there and helped make the birth memorable.
