Update! We had our second ultrasound March 25, and everything looks great! This baby has the longest legs I have ever seen! Going to be super tall like mom and dad! I also had my first prenatel check up with my Dr, everthing is going great! Heart Rate 150! Our next ultrasound is May 2, and I hope we can find out the sex.
I am slowly getting out of the tired stage which is nice because for the last 3.5 months we have been going to bed before 8pm... sad I know but just super tired.

9 Weeks First off all is going well! I am still tired and get the sick feeling but I will survive. Anyways, I made an appointment with my regular family Dr that knows our history and did my prenatal with Carter. But since he is doing his Residency I had to the lie to the receptionist about why I needed to see him. When he walked in to the room.... he looked at me and was thrilled to see me, sat down in front of his computer to see that beside my name it says Mole. So he asked how I was doing and I said good but sad that he will not be my prenatal Dr again... he looked at me funny and said but it says mole here... what do you mean prenatal... So I said yep we are, and then he told me that he was only working Saturdays, Tuesdays and Wednesday and if I was willing to stick to those days he would be willing to take me back on as a prenatal patient. Between him and another girl that works there that also knows my history, they will figure it all out!!! I was so excited and emotional of course... I jumped into my car and started crying. I called Chad to let him know and he is pumped too.

Week 7 We had our Ultrasound and appoinment with the fertility Dr. February 13, the ultrasound went well and the tech said that baby is measuring to date and we got to see the little heart pulsing at 153 bpm. Although at 7 weeks your fetus is so tiny and just starting to develop arms and legs it still help put us at ease. After the ultrasound we met with the Dr and he went over a few things with us. He was happy with things so once again made us happy. The less we have to worry about the better.
I continue with the blood work till March 4th and Prometrium till March 6. We go for another Ultrasound on March 25, the one where they detect any problems along with blood work, then we meet with the Dr the morning of the 26 to get the results of that one. So I am glad that they are watching over us!
I have been feeling very icky thru out the whole day and worse at night when I lay down to go to bed. I have only been physically sick once so far but have come close lots... Today for instance we are having a pot luck at work and I am not sure how my tummy will handle such a variety of smells in one room... there is only one girl at work that knows as I don't want to tell people until we are 12 weeks at least.

My Story! Hello to everyone!
My name is Jennifer and I am 28 years old. My fiance is Chad (33). We have been together for 3 years and engaged for a while now... (planning our wedding is not really what we are into just quite yet... maybe one day) In the meantime we are trying to start our family.
Here we go, back in February 2005, we found out we were pregnant. I was only 6 weeks along at the time and had some light spotting. So we went for our first ultrasound and there was heart rate. The second ultrasound was scheduled for 8 weeks so Chad was able to take the day off and be a part of it. Unfortunately for us there was nothing. The fetus was gone. It was sad but we knew it would happen again.
October 2005 I made the big move from Medicine Hat to Calgary to live with Chad, (who just started consulting on drilling rigs... so technically I moved my stuff to his home and I moved myself out to the rig). Shortly after that we found out we were pregnant again~ YEAH! I was able to find a doctor no problem and starting seeing him. Everything went completely well during the entire pregnancy... Due date of July 29th. We were so excited. We completed the nursery we went with a neutral color even though we knew it was a boy! On July 14 close friends of ours threw us a baby shower/BBQ with numerous friends. It was so nice. After all the gifts and some good food one of the girls wanted to feel baby move. So we went inside and I laid on the couch and he wasn't moving. Not thinking anything of it we headed home to go to bed. We got home and I went straight to bed. I woke up the in the AM and ate some breakfast then fell back asleep on the couch. When I got up the second time, I started doing all the "Thank You Cards" not paying attention to movement. By 9pm that night I was starting to panic and told Chad that we better head to the hospital. We did just that, they got us in right away we had an ultrasound... then a doctor told us there was nothing... " what do you mean nothing I have been pregnant for 9 months and felt the kicks and everything of this little boy and you are now telling me there is nothing". The Doctor sent us home to think about what was happening and for us to think about how we would go about all of this. When we got home we called family and friends to let them know what was happening. My mom flew in sunday from Regina. We went into the hospital on Monday July 17, to be induced. We were in there till wednesday, Carter Douglas recieved his wings at 10:30pm July 19, 2006 ( he weighed 7lbs 9ozs and was 23"long) we held him and spent time with him which we are both so glad that we did. The umbilical cord was in a knot and around his neck causing the supply to be cut off as he dropped. Pretty much all the family got to see him as well. He looked identical to his father! We love you forever Carter.
After taking the time to deal with that (which is not easy) we learned to communicate a lot more and be a lot more open and honest with each other. March 2007 I became pregnant again, everything was going well, up until the beginning of June when Chad was in Saskatchewan for a golf tournament and I was home spending saturday with some friends. I came home that evening to find that I was spotting.( instantly started to panic - calling my mom crying, saying what do I do) She suggested that I call Pam and ask her if she would come with me to the hospital. We met there and waited to find out that I lost this one as well, I was supposed to be 11 weeks but the fetus showed 8 weeks. I had to have a D&C following this miscarriage because I was losing so much blood.
August 2007 - Chad's brother got married so I was paying no attention to my body. But I took a test on August 7 and it was postitive.. Yeah! When I got to work on the 8th I started to bleed again. I made an appointment with my Doctor for the 10th of August, he sent two letters to the Pregnancy Loss Clinic in a matter of a month. He also told me that the waiting list for this place is from 8 months to a year to get in. He was able to pull some strings and we got in by September. They ordered numerous blood work from both Chad and I. We went back in November to hear that everything is perfect, there seems to be nothing wrong, keep trying and come back in February and we will put you on some pills. Well December past and January came... I wasn't feeling 100%, completely tired... semi nausea, so on the 23 I got up in the morning and did a test. Yeah for us it is positive. I am taking Prometrium, baby aspirin and Materna (orders from the fertility Dr) I had blood work done that Wednesday. I had to go for blood work every tuesday until March 4. We meet with the fertility Dr on February 13 for our first ultrasound and visit. The PLC followed me until I am 12 weeks and then I can go back to my regular DR. Our fingers are crossed and we hope that this one is going to work.
Sorry to put this all into one big mess.... but to make a long story short... as they say
