I am getting very excited as the time seems to be flying. I will have 5 weeks left of work after this week.
Chad called last night from BC to see how things were going. All is going well with him! He is catching a lot of fish. Good thing our new deep freeze comes on saturday before the arrival of all the fish. Looking forward to him coming home saturday! We miss him....

I have a Dr's appointment today at 4pm. Should be short and sweet which is good. I will write more tomorrow.

70 days left till our due date.

This past weekend I flew to Regina to surprise my friend Amie, she had her little girl Paige a month ago and her family was hosting a baby shower for her on Sunday. With permission from my Dr I was able to fly out Friday night - I arrived shortly after 11pm, Lynn and Heather were there to pick me up. We headed over to Amie's house so I could see Paige and wake Amie up to surprise her. I did just that, I was holding Paige and walked into her Amie's room and stood beside the bed saying Amie till she woke up. We had a little visit, we took off and let them all go to bed. Saturday I hung out with my sister, we just did some running around.

Sunday was the shower and so my sister and I got up 45 minutes before we had to go and got ready and headed over to Lynn 's for the shower. It was very nice. Once everyone left Amie, Lynn Heather, Paige and I hung out and visited. We then took Paige over to meet my mom and dad. 

Blair, Jaime's boyfriend came over and we BBQ'd before I left. Mom, dad and Jaime took me to the airport at 8 and I arrived home just after 11 as I had to wait for my luggage. Chad is gone now for the week (he left yesterday around 6pm) to the Queen Charlotte's for salmon fishing.... YUMMY!

6 more weeks of work..... CAN'T WAIT!

 Saturday would have been Carter's 2nd Birthday, I can't believe how fast time goes. We miss you and love you forever Carter. 2 years since Carter got his wings.

Our weekend was great! We headed out to the lake Friday after work and got there just before 8pm... which was a little sad as I haven't seen our friends in over 6 weeks and their little one Aubree who is 6 1/2 months old was already sleeping... so no cuddles for Auntie Jenn... till she woke up around 11 and we were sitting by the fire so she got to come out and sit with me. YEAH! So cute. It is so cute when you start singing "Patty Cake" she claps her hands! Smart!

Saturday morning I ran into Rocky to pick up some things that Chad forgot to get out of freezer and it turned out when I was done my running around my mom and dad arrived in Rocky the same time so they were able to follow me out to the trailer! We got there and made breakfast then mom and I headed to the pool with Shaunesy and Aubree and we floated around and enjoyed the HOT weather! When we got back to the trailer the boys were getting ready to head out to quad. Chad's mom and her boyfriend Terry arrived shortly after they left so mom, Karen. Terry and I hung out and visited. We started supper around 6pm and the boys showed up shortly after that and cooked the steaks for us. After supper mom and I walked with Shaunesy, Aubree, Lynn, Darin and Jordan to the store for some ice cream, when we got back we sat by the fire. Karen and Terry stayed till 12:30ish and then my mom and I showed them the way out of the park then came back to the fire, we were up till after 3am!

Sunday we got up around 9:30 ate breakfast and headed to the pool again as the boys went golfing... it was so hot! I love it! That night we had burgers, hotdogs, salad and some chips for supper then Karen and Terry left and around 11 Chad and I took off to head back into Calgary as we both worked Monday. My mom and dad spent the night at the trailer then came into Calgary Monday AM and did some running around. Since Sunday was my Mom's birthday we had some King Crab legs and Shrimp for supper Monday night. Yesterday we got up and mom and dad left for Regina around 11:30!

I am so happy that everyone could make it out this weekend and hope that they all had a blast too!

Hello!

Hard to believe that  on July 2 I will be 27 weeks... Crazy the end of the second trimester and the beginning of the last trimester. Time is flying and I am feeling so good and can't complain about anything! 

We are going to be heading to Rocky tonight after work! My mom and dad are going to be joining us this weekend which is going to be a blast! Unfortunately Chad and I work on Monday but what can you do sometimes... 40 days of work left for me till I am on Mat Leave. I am going to be done as of August 29 so that will give me roughly 4 weeks to get stuff done around the house which will be nice before the arrival of our little boy!

I hope that everyone has a Great Canada Day weekend! I am looking forward to the HEAT!!! And the pool or lake or both!!
