Sun., May 11th, Mother's Day!!! 25w4d Today is Mother's Day....it doesn't feel much different, but it's nice to be a mommy on this holiday in one capacity or another. Mike and I slept in a bit today because last night was bad for me with the heart burn. I really thought I wasn't going to be able to handle it! My temps were up more than they ever have been today, but still considered normal. Plus the doctor on today didn't like my first NST (even though it was reactive and the nurses said it was fine). The doctor thought babies baseline heart rate was high. So....Mike took me for my wheel chair ride downstairs today. We dropped of the thank you notes at the mail box and got some lunch to go in the cafeteria. Mike got me a really sweet card and a ring I had wanted for Mother's Day. Mike was stressed about leaving to go home this afternoon because of my temps, but the nurse assured him it was still normal and not indicative of a fever. So, Mike left around 3:30, it was really hard for both of us. My second NST looked the same and a different doctor said it was good. Tonight has otherwise been uneventful. Had a lot of phone calls today from friends and family. I miss my dog like crazy and Mike might bring him up to see me next week.
