One Year Old
Waasayah turned 1 last Thursday. We had a low-key party with about three family members. A lot of birthday greetings were received via Facebook. Would have been nice to have a bigger party with brothers and sisters but good luck with that!
She is great. Starting to walk now. She has eight teeth at the moment. I figure Waasayah will be at the November powwow during Tiny Tots. I can't wait to see her out there.
We have Nikki and Earlene babysitting during the week. Earlene is expecting a baby so I am not sure how much longer they will be able to watch her. I really don't want to put her in a daycare so we will have to see.
All in all everything is fine. She is turning into a little girl more each day. I keep thinking back to a year ago, when she first came. Doesn't seem that far away. |
