Well, it's been awhile since I've updated here, so here goes:

Nathan is almost 7 months and weighs 17.8 pounds and is 26 inches long. He's teething, but no teeth yet. I swear one day Darren and I heard him say mama, but we aren't positive since he hasn't said it since. He rolls over real good and likes to sleep on his tummy. It makes me nervous because of the SIDS risk, but his doctor told me that once babies can roll over they are ok to sleep on the tummy. But it doesn't stop me from worrying.

We've been taking so many pictures, he started to automatically smile when he see's the camara. Real cute one posted in the album. He like to look at books and chew his toes. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE his little smile. He likes to laugh at the dog, and laughs at anything when he's trying to stay awake. My little man has a temper on him. Got it from me the poor kid.

He started eating solids a month ago, he loves peas and squash. Not crazy about meat yet. Loves banana's.

I think thats everything for now. I'll update sooner next time.

On the 28th Nathan will be 5 months old. I can't believe how fast time is going! I looked at some pictures on Sunday that a friend had taken when Nathan was about 1 month old. I can't believe how little he was!

He keeps getting a little infection in hios left eye. I think it may be becuase he has his hands in his mouth all the time and rubs his eyes. But I have a appointment for him at the doctors tomorrow, so I'll ask if that it, maybe it's something else, we'll see.

I like to lay him down on the couch and grab his hands and pull him up so he can stand on his legs, he can stand on them for several seconds. I'm trying to work with him on holding his bottle, he can hold it for a little bit and then lets go, he doesn't realize yet that he's the one that can control the bottle. I'm starting to find way to make him laugh and smile, he loves to to smile. Sometimes I'll catch him smiling away at me and I didn't know it. He has BIG smiles for his daddy when he gets home from work. It's so cute! I put him in his jumparoo and dance around and act silly and he just laughs a smiles away.

Oh, and he has now stated to throw fits. Usually when he's tired and doesn't want to go to sleep

So my little man got his 4 month checkup and shots. Poor little man didn't feel good for a couple days after his shots, but he's back to his adorable little self. The doctor said I can start him on some ice cereal. I had noticed that he kept staring at Darren and I when we eat with his little mouth wide open like he wanted to eat our food. So I asked at his appointment and she said yes. He loves the rice cereal. I also asked how his growth was because my friends keep saying how small he is and I was starting to worry. She said he on the smaller side of normal but still the the normal range. So I was relieved about that. His weight was 13.9 and his wieght was 24'

He scratched his nose on Sunday so he has a nice little mark his his nose. It seems to be healinf pretty quick.
