I thought colds when you're not pregnant are bad, but they're worse when you are! I suppose it's not really that the colds are worse, but you can't take anything for them. So here I am miserable with a cold.  I can't believe how much I've slept and how much water I've drank in the last couple days. Poor Nathan probably can't get much sleep with mom hacking away and blowing her nose. My throat feels better than it did ysterday but in general I feel worse today than yesterday.

My mom and I went to lunch and some thrift stores the other day, it was nice. We don't usually get to spend a whole lot of time together so the few hours we did were nice. I picked up some cute second hand clothes for Nathan and mom got a cute bowl with a handle and a paint pattern (I think). Mom has been watching my niece Bianca whose mommy is getting ready to start school, so my mom has been watching Bianca and it was nice for her to get out of the house for a little break.

Well, that all I can think, my head is so cloudy. TTFN!

So we went to have our last ultrasound done yesterday, and she was able to tell us right away without any doubt whatsoever in her voice. It's a boy!!!! We even got a little picture of his peepee. You sure can tell when you know what your looking at! 

We're very happy and excited to finally be able to start calling our little one a name. Which will be Nathan Camdyn Phillips.

I was on cloud nine all day yesterday. I think I must have had a smile plastered on my face for the longest time. My friend Debbie went with us. She's never been to an ultrasound and was in awe of the whole thing. The girl who did the ultrasound was very good, explaining what we were looking at and even applying color to the unbilical cord so we could see the blood rusing through. We were able to hear the heart as well which was 151, nice and strong! She showed us the four chambers of the heart (it looked like a four leaf clover) Oh, and she told us that I'm a week further along that we thought. So I'll call my doctor's office next week and find out my  new due date.

Nathan even streched out with his hands above his head will the ultrasound was being done. And in one picture she gave us it even looks like he's shaking his fist at us. And in another he's smiling. So cute. All the pictures she gave us are in the photo album. We got 7 total.

Today I applied for and was approved for WIC, so I'm real happy about that, it will help us out financially some since I quit my job in two weeks and things will be tough for awhile.

So yesterday I'm half lying half sitting up on my bed watching tv when all of the sudden I saw my tummy jump! I was so thrilled to see that because I've been waiting for the stronger kicks so that my hunny can feel the baby move. Now, I know it was only once and that it may not happen again right away, but I'm just thrilled beyond words. I really want Darren to be able to bond with the baby in this way.

Have my ultrasound in a few hours, hopefully our little one won't be too shy! More Later! TTFN!

We bought our first diapers the other day. They're so cute! They have baby Pooh Bear on them and are so tiny, they even have a small cut out for the umbilical cord.

We have a doctor's visit today. I should get my paperwork for the blood glucose test sice I'll be 28 weeks before my next visit, and he should schedule me for an ultrasound to check for placenta problems (not that there has been any indication of it, but because of the bleeding early on he wants to rule it out). Hopefully, we'll be able to finally put a name to our baby. Looking forward to it.
