Misc Stuff . . . .

Things are going good still. My blood sugars are mostly under control. I've had only 2 that were a little higher than where they need to be, but still not bad in themselves.

The NST's are going good. Nathan is doing good still so at the moment, no need to be induced early. But, that could change tomorrow, you never know.

I'll be starting my 5 week of childbirth classes this coming Thursday. They are very interesting. Alot of the stuff covered is stuff I've already read and researched, but I like the practice for the breathing. My mom and I alter them a little bit because it's all couples. But my mom and I don't want to dance together, so we change things around a little bit. It works. She keeps saying how much things have changed since she had hers with my brother over 25 years ago. She learning some new things.

We have the crib together and it's pretty big. We had to take our dresser out so it could fit in the bedroom. I like it though and it provides alot of extra storage for Nathans things.

Baby shower is coming up Saturday.

Well thats all I can think of for now. TTFN!

Starting Non Stress Tests

So I start NST's (Non Stress Test) this week on friday and will go 2 times a weeks until Nathan is born. My doctor said it's to be able to keep an eye on the baby since I have GD (gestatioal diabetes). The placenta can start to age and can cause Nathan to not recieve the nutrients from me that he needs. The doc also said he is on the chubby side. So they'll want to keep and eye on that as well. He said if I see him over there after they've done an NST, that it's decision time. Something will need to happen. I'm trying to not worry to much about that comment, but at the same time, it's made me want to kick it up here at home a little bit and get the last few things that need doing, done. Oh the doc also said that other that being 'chubby' everything else looks real good as far as his development and the amniotic fliud. Yay!

We got the crib and stroller/carseat travel system yesterday. I'm pretty happy about that,it took us forever to be able to get them. None of the Target around here had them in and we tried for nearly two weeks to find them. So Kelley called Manteca and they had one of each left. They put them on hold for me and we high tailed over there after Darren got off work to pick them up. We'll put them together on friday.

Next couple of days will be devoted to getting Nathan clothes and bedding and things all washed up so that if we do need to deliver early, it will already be done. Carseat will go in the car this week, amd Nathan diaper bag will be packed as well as my bag.

He moving around alot still. I thought he was going to pop right out of my tummy last week!

Well that all for now. TTFN!

He's A Movin'

Last night when I got in bed, I started to read in a parenting magazine I got in the mail. So I lay in bed for a bout 30 minutes or feeling him move around some, then all of the sudden, he looked like he was to pop right out of my tummy! He made some BIG moves, on both sides. And my tummy got rock hard. It was the weirdest feeling. Cool but weird.

On another note, I'm starting to feel scared again. I guess because his coming is so close now. Fear of the unknown, what might happen, what might not. I'm sure things will be fine, I really am as prepared as I'm going to be. I'm just a worrier I guess. I get that from my mom.  So it's comes natural!

My Grandpa & Grandma W sent us a gift card for Target. We plan to use it to help us buy the crib/mattress and stroller/carseat combo, but none of the Target's in the area have them in! I cried when we went to get them the other day. I was sooooo dissapointed. I'm more concerned about getting the crib because it's such a good deal and has the extra storage we need. It can't even be ordered online, it's out of stock there as well.  I have no choice but to wait, but if it gets to close to delivery time, we may need to go with something else.

Well, that all for now. TTFN!

Oh So Tired

Complaint Alert!

Ok, so I've hit the point in this pregnancy were I am officially ALWAYS tired. I sleep terrible at night, tossing and turning, waking up every couple hours either to pee or stare at the clock. And the few hours I do get during the day help a little, but I still drag through the day. Maybe the day drags becuase I don't have alot to do. The house is pretty much in order, just a couple things left to do that I'm not ready to tackle yet. I told Darren I think I'm going to start crocheting a baby blanket. I know, it's a little late to start one, but who says it has to be done for when he is born?

Gotta test my blood sugars. TTFN!
