Interesting fact: I actually know Braxton Hicks. Yes, those wonderful treats are named after a real person -- I think that's how the story goes. Anyway, the conductor of one of the orchestras on Carnival Cruise Lines is called Braxton Hicks and his grandfather is the one who named those fake contractions. Aren't you happier for knowing that?
