I could not see a direct link to your journal to answer your question. I hope you get to read this journal entry. :)
I did some intense running and cycling before conceiving my son 2 years ago. During my pregnancy with him I had to take things slower since I was not sure if I'm causing harm to my baby and I had a lot of spotting. I continued to run up to about 25 weeks and then switched over to cycling on the trainers for the rest of my pregnancy. I also went out for "power walks" where I would walk very fast instead of running. But I did not stop running because I was uncomfortable, I stopped because of the spotting I was experiencing.
I cycled quite intensely up to my due date.
This pregnancy is very different. So far no spotting and I am able to do short runs in the week and a longer run on the weekend. I make sure I can sing along with my mp3 player :) that way I know mom and baby are ok. I'm also hoping to continue with the running through the rest of my pregnancy. I think we can do it!!! There is a site called www.runningskirts.com which is a great inspiration to all Mommies out there who want to keep on running. These women went out for runs past their due dates!
Please sent me your journal link so I can see how you are doing.
:)

16 Weeks today and feeling good I am exactly 16 weeks pregnant today. It is hard not to compare the two pregnancies with each other. All I can say is that I feel that this pregnancy is a little harder than when I was pregnant the first time. Everything happens faster. Round ligament pains, expanding of the belly but the best part is FEELING this baby move. I could feel little movements around 13 weeks already and now it is getting stronger. Last night I was lying on my back and could clearly feel the baby moving.
I am happy to be in the second trimester and over most of the nausea. Isn't it amazing how quickly we forget those first trimester symptoms?
Travis is doing great. He is eating, sleeping, playing, singing like a champ. He is growing up so fast now. I wish that these precious moments in life did not pass by so quickly. I'm trying to hold on to every little minute I get to spend with my son, but time slips by so fast!
I am running more frequently again. It is hard to stay motivated, especially after a long day of work and at 9pm at night. But I managed to do 1.3 miles on the treadmill last night. So far I've gained 5 lbs which is exactly where I should be at this time.
Lots of love,
Judy

My Belly ;) Good morning!,
Funny thing happened to me this morning. I was busy dressing myself like I do every morning. Put my black stripe pants on...not problem. Put my black lacy top on....oops! It does not cover my belly anymore . I started laughing at the irony of how I looked in the mirror and without flinching, I decided that my days of wearing my pre maternity snug fitting tops at work are over.
My first instinct is to worry a little. People tell you that you start to show sooner with your second pregnancy. I just did not think that I will be so affected by that. But, now I remember from before that it will be ok as long as I don't gain too much in other body areas.
I still manage to run my 20 minutes a day. I need to extend that a little to ensure I don't have too much trouble to do the half marathon in 2009.
At this stage, I love being pregnant. Love to see my body make changes for this new little baby inside me.
Love,
Mommy

Just a quick note Today is my 29th birthday! It has always been my goal to have my children before the age of thirty and God granted my wish. You dad spoiled me this morning with gifts, chocolates and breakfast. He is such a wonderful husband. I can't picture my life without him.
I'm finally showing. When I was pg with Travis, I only started showing at 5 months. This is my last pregnancy, so I don't mind showing and being pregnant as long as I possibly can. :) I'm sure I will feel different towards the end when belly and baby gets big and heavy.
