We're having a ... Baby!!!! Our doctor tried to see the gender of our little baba today and for a split second they thought that they were looking at boy parts. The doctor said she thinks it is a boy but not to go out and buy blue yet!!! LOL Then she looked around for a longer time and baby's legs were crossed and she said it could have been the chord we are looking at.
So for the moment: It can be baby girl or baby boy.
I'm thinking that it might be another boy and are excited to think about all the fun Travis will have with a little brother. Perhaps that is why God gave me such a love for sports...because He is preparing me for this progesterone ruled household. We have boy dogs and now perhaps a house full of boys. Sounds like so much fun.

Baby's development at 16 weeks
My Baby
Baby starts plumping up this week, as body fat begins to be deposited under her skin. Your baby will continue adding these essential layers from now until she leaves the womb, when she'll need them to help her stay warm in the outside world. Added bonus: They help her achieve that precious, pudgy baby look! Your baby is continuing to "breathe" amniotic fluid through her lungs, prepping for those first oxygen-packed breaths after she's born. Roughly the size of a large pear, these days she's almost 5 inches long and weighs in at nearly 5 ounces. Her delicate skeleton continues to harden from rubbery cartilage to bone, so make sure you're chugging that milk. The calcium helps build a strong, sturdy frame!

Felt you move very lightly To my Dear Baby,
I just felt you move. It was a couple of very gentle pushes you gave in my lower stomach. I love feeling you move and can hardly wait for Thursday s doctor appointment. Hopefully they will do an ultrasound to see if you are wearing a dress of pantsuit :)
Mommy loves you dearly already and can't wait to feel you move more often.
