OK...so yeah it's been over a month since I've last updated......crazy how I wrote in this thing like every day...sometimes more then once a day....and then as time went on I slacked off so much that ...yeah over 4 weeks have gone by, and not so much as a word from me. However in my defense I have had a ton going on.......just after the first of the year Jalynn was diagnosed with pneumonia, Noah with mono, and then both Noah and I were battling the flu. Due to all the sickness....I didn't keep up with lamaze classes.....that and the fact that at our first meeting I was THE ONLY ONE who had already had a child..........talk about feeling ...stupid!! So yeah that might have had a slight impact on my decision as well.... Mom and I had my sister in law's baby shower, and it went really well....the following weekend my brother, sister and law, Shawn, Noah and I all went shopping (they wanted to spend their gift certificates and money they received from the shower...and I told them we were broke and we would go along just to look) .... I found her nursery stuff on clearance at Baby Depot...so even though we didn't have the money at the time, I couldn't pass up the deal .... and so I got Kenna all her bedding, lamp, wall decor, boarder, 2 adorable outfits, and a new girlie diaper bag. It was a nice day, and I managed our account so that we were able to cover everything.....(yeah ok so I had to pack my lunch for the next week instead of eating out...but hey...I'm getting things checked off the 'need to buy' list!!).........I've been buying a pack of newborn diapers and some formula each time I go grocery shopping to help stock up. I still plan on trying to breast feed for about the first 6 months or so if I can...I called and checked out the prices of renting a machine and it's quality vs. purchasing one. I think rental really would be the way to go, especially if I only want to feed for 6 months. The power of the machine is a lot higher, and 6 mo. rental is still cheaper then buying one. I've also been on e-bay like crazy getting Kenna all kinds of clothes...I actually think I went overboard on stuff for 0-3 months! lol....I started bidding on all kinds of stuff thinking....I've got nothing for her...and I won most of the auctions at really great prices, and now I've got TONS for her!! lol.....so that's cool.....I did end up buying Noah a couple pairs of jeans as well. The clothes are just WAY TOO ADORABLE too!! I am getting SO ANXIOUS!! I can't wait to get her crib now, so that I can get the nursery all set up. I've gotten all Noah's all stuff out (car seat, stroller, bouncy seat, bassinet, etc.) and cleaned them all up and have it all ready to go. The bassinet is set up in our room, ready for Kenna to come home. I can't believe just over 7 weeks....wow.......and that's only if I go to full term.......I doubt I do......I'm torn though b/c I would love to have her a little early...it's beginning to get uncomfortable......however what girl wouldn't want an April birthstone....HELLO...DIAMONDS?!!?....lol.......plus the diamond birthstone for Kenna and the Ruby birthstone for Noah would go nicely together as apposed to the blue birthstone of March and the red ruby........yeah I know I'm babbling.....lol........but hey, it's been awhile!! lol....if Lise doesn't go into labor b/4 Thursday they're going to induce her then....she's supposed to be at the hospital at 7:30 am. She's not due until the 16th, but her blood pressure has been really high......actually they thought they might induce her last Thursday b/c it was reading 161/100...however it finally went back to normal, and they observed her for the evening and it stayed normal. I thought it would be cool if they did end up having their baby then, b/c it was a rather emotional day for me...1 year since my miscarriage. I put a tribute to the baby we lost on this website www.aplacetoremember.com they have a remembrance book on that site, that you can enter things to....it's pretty nice. It helped me through a rough day. ~ Now back to Lise getting induced this Thursday....it's actually her and Jonathon's anniversary.....(not marriage anniversary...but dating)....cute huh....and then the following day...that is Shawn and my 'dating anniversary'......exactly one year ahead of Jonathon and Lise........hope you were able to follow all of that......lol.........I guess since I'm rambling on so much I really should go........but quickly first here's my pregnancy update.......I do believe Kenna is head down now...b/c her feet are constantly up in my ribs...yeah that's a little painful...and I think she's running out of room, b/c the top of my uterus goes through these stages of soreness and pain........and I am still peeing ALL THE DAMN TIME!!! I get up all night long, and pee, pee, pee, pee, PEE!!!! My back hurts, and most of my muscles are tender, my ankles are swollen, and my butt bone hurts too!! And I am so absent minded here lately...I will be in the middle of something and lose my train of thought, or forget names and things like crazy!!! ....but hey it's ALMOST over!!!!!!!! Let the countdown begin!!!!
OH YEAH....and the Super Bowl SUCKED!!!!!!!! The stupid Steelers won.........I would have much rather had my husband cry himself to sleep then have to have that team come out on top......although I still say the refs were paid off.....come one we all know Big Ben was GIVEN that touchdown...and there was a ton of other questionable calls!!!!

Lamaze Classes So I called the hospital today to check and see for sure when we're to start our Lamaze classes.....good thing I did because we're scheduled to start TONIGHT! I thought we were scheduled for Wednesday evenings...and I even checked back in my journal where I wrote that down right after getting off the phone with the hospital....but I guess we're scheduled for Tuesday nights....which actually works out better for us, b/c Noah stays the night at my dad's on Tuesday nights....so cool. Shawn was um, overjoyed, yeah that's it....when I called and reminded him about lamaze.......he was like "why are we going to lamaze?".....and I told him b/c we never did...and he was all...."but you already have a kid! you've done the labor thing before".......and I told him that I really want to try and go natural with this one, and I want to take lamaze.......so he happily (or not so happily) agreed. lol, oh well.....I am the one pushing this baby out, and dealing with the recovery afterwards......the least he can do is sit through one night a week of lamaze for six weeks!! Not to mention...I think it sounds fun!! :) so there!! lol

Christmas, Vacation, New Years & my birthday....oh boy!!
Well ....it's back to the hustle and bustle of a busy work day. However I thought I would take a few minutes after my lunch here to give a little update.
I worked Dec. 23rd, and then went on vacation until today....IT WAS SO NICE!!! I had an absolutely WONDERFUL Christmas. Friday after I got off work Lise picked me up and we finished up shopping I had to do for Shawn and a few family members. Saturday Brian, Alex, Jonathon, Shawn, Little Shawn, Chris, and a couple guys from the shop went to the Browns / Steelers game.....(don't even talk to me about that outcome!!...it was AWFUL!!) ...I had TONS of things to do at the house....I hadn't started a single bit of wrapping, plus I had the usual Sat. dusting/windexing/scowering to do...and I had some more Christmas cookies I wanted to bake. I worked all evening on that, and when Shawn got home he and Little Shawn headed down to Cambridge to pick up Janice, and drop off Grandma and Grandpa Wilson's Christmas gifts. Noah and I left a letter to Santa along with some milk and cookies. He was so cute....after leaving the letter and stuff he climbed up on the chair with me and just stared at the fire place waiting on Santa....I told him that Santa wouldn't come until he was sleeping, but he insisted on waiting up as long as he could and listening for the sleigh bells.....once Shawn got home, they passed out on the couch together. While they were sleeping "Santa Came".....we headed off to bed.......in the morning he was so excited to see that Santa ate the cookies and drank the milk and left a letter to him, thanking him.....my mom and step dad came up early to watch the kids open their gifts and then I started the Christmas ham. Everyone arrived around 12 and we had a really great time. I got the best gifts ever......Shawn got me a Browns pullover, and browns pajama pants, a really comfy robe and slippers, and this ultra soft comfortable throw blanket, and a gift certificate to get my hair highlighted and cut. (oh my roots were so bad...we are talking some much over needed touchups going on here!! lol) Mom got me these awesome knives, and some Tommy Girl perfume, and some great cookware, and silverware...which I instantly took out of the box to use for the dinner....lol, along with the amazing stainless steel pots and pans dad got for us. Janice got me some reese cups (it's a ritual she does every year..mmm) some silverware, and a new toaster oven. Grandma Baker renewed our AAA membership, and Grandma and Grandpa Standiford gave us some $$, and Marlena had me in the gift exchange and she got me this really nice charm that said #1 mom......it was just a great day altogether. Monday Shawn went to pick up Jalynn, and after she opened up her gifts from Santa, he took Janice home, then we headed down to my moms so that Jalynn could open her gifts up from her. Then later that evening dad came over so that Jalynn could open her gifts from him, he ended up staying the night....and Tuesday I spent taking care of Jalynn b/c she had a nasty cold, and Little Shawn and his friend Seth played Madden 2006 all day. Wednesday I took the kids out to lunch, and we headed to the mall so they could spend their Christmas money from Janice. Then we met up with Shawn when he got off work and headed down to Cambridge so that Little Shawn could spend some of his vacation with his mom. Shawn, Jalynn, Noah and I went over to Grandma and Grandpa Wilson's to visit....grandpa was volunteering at the hospital, so grandma was the only one there....we had a really nice visit and she gave me a bunch of great cookie recipes! mmmm Thursday Jalynn and I had a 'girls day'......we went and got our hair done, and out to eat...we met up with my friend Jacki, and she followed us back to my house were we had a much overdue visit. Friday Jalynn, Noah and I spent the day making grandma Wilson's cookies....Shawn couldn't wait when he got home to give me my birthday gift (even though it was a day early)......he got me a beautiful card...seriously, it made me cry...it just said how he did notice all the little things that I do, and how much he appreciates them all, and how amazing it is that I find time to not only be a wonderful mother and wife, but also his best friend......yep, tearing up now thinking about it.....anyways...the card alone was gift enough seriously!!.(he took much slack for it from the guys the next day when they came over and read it...).. he also got me black leather jacket, and the newest Grisham novel, and some socks! lol....he's just the absolute greatest!! Saturday afternoon mom, Brian, Alex, Kellie, Courtney, Dad, Marlena, & Kellies friend Brittany all come over to have cake and ice cream with me for my birthday.....and I got some more great gifts....mom got me a candle (love them!!) and a gift certificate to Marks Place, dad got me serving set and matching dishes that go with my 'good set' that I have. So now instead of a serving set of 4 I have a set of 8....sweet!! After they all headed out I started the ham for the dinner we were having .... it was our annual Christmas party / NYE party......we had a nice turn out and a really great time. Sunday we relaxed, Shawn went to Cambridge and picked up Little Shawn (he called early in the morning wanting to know how soon we could pick him up....I think he was home sick!! YEAH!!!).....later on in the evening we headed down to moms for some sour kraut and pork. Monday Shawn took Jalynn home and fixed the washer....(we came home Sunday night to tons of water in the laundry room....the shut off valve on the washer quit working and it was just running water).....I went threw all the baby clothes that I have...sorted between what's Colton's and Noah's and put them in piles according to size, and getting ready to give them all to Lise...then I took a nice long nap and tried to re-coop from everything.....Today, I think I'm getting the sickness that's been going around...I threw up this morning and just haven't felt right all day............could be work! lol....but I think I'm actually coming down with something.....uuugh! Well there's the update............HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone....my due date's getting closer....at least it's THIS YEAR!! lol

Congrats Jen & Shawn!!
Good news! I found out my dear friend Shawn and his wonderful wife Jen are expecting!! I am SO EXCITED for them. Unfortunately they have experienced a miscarriage last year...so I know how scared they have to be...but she's 12 weeks now...and the great part is they're due just after their wedding anniversary!! Isn't that so cool? They're going to be wonderful parents...I really am happy for them!! She's been pretty sick...but like the dr. says...sicker mommy is better the baby is....so keep puking Jen!! lol
We had a pretty good weekend....pretty busy. Saturday afternoon we went to my Aunt Desa's house for my little cousin Montana's birthday...then that evening we had a dinner at my house for my dad's birthday...Jonathon. Lise, Chuck, Brian, Courtney, and then my crew (Shawn, Little Shawn, Jalynn and Noah)...were there. We had steak, sauteed mushrooms, cheesy potatoes, salad, breadsticks, and Noah and Jalynn helped make his birthday cake...and we had dad's favorite ice cream (Rocky Road)...it was a nice evening. Sunday I took Noah and Jalynn out to the Yacht Club to their Christmas party. They were able to visit with Santa ...and made Christmas ornaments, they had a great time. Noah was all about sitting on his lap and talking with him, and he had to run back and give him a hug goodbye before we left. lol......he had on new shoes and he mentioned earlier in the day that he wanted to show Santa his new shoes.....well when we got in the car to leave he said "OH NO!" when I asked him what was wrong, he said "I forgot to show Santa my shoes!!"...lol...he's such a cutie...I assured him that Santa saw his shoes and that he really liked them. Later on that evening while Shawn was taking Jalynn home, I was laying on the couch and Noah was talking to my belly...all of a sudden he looked up at me, scrunched his nose and said "Uh, Kenna hanged up!"....I just laughed and laughed...he looked at me like "what?...what's so funny?"......oh it was just hillarious.....they really come up with some good ones don't they!
As far as pregnancy goes....heartburn still in full force....I threw up this morning...and I have a terrible headache right now...I mean it's massive...haven't had one of those in a long time. Kenna's been so active lately...kicking like crazy! I LOVE IT!!
Well I suppose I should get back to work....uugh....wonder where the headaches coming from?!?! lol
