Well Saturday I went to my cousins wedding, and there was a lot of family and friends there...Shawn and I hadn't shared our news with a lot of people outside of immediate family, b/c we were waiting until the first doctors appointment......well I was BOMBARDED by everyone asking if I was 'expecting'......I was like ....well, I'm not that far along, but they say that you show a lot quicker after your first pregnancy......there was no hiding it!! My mom said that she looked 4 or 5 months with my sister Courtney when she was 6 weeks pregnant.....I just now turned 5 weeks...for everyone to be able to tell already...I have a little hope it's twins!!! At least that way I won't feel so bad for having such a basketball belly already!! lol~ Sunday was Shawn's 30th birthday and we had a huge party for him. My uncles suprised him and drove in from out of state. It was a good time....but again surrounded by people asking the question...."Kara, are you pregnant?" ~ I guess inadvertantly the news is now out! lol.....I am just so anxious for our doctors appointment....I am feeling pregnant....I'm obviously showing (still can't believe that one) peeing constantly, and my boobs hurt....no sickness yet (thank God!! ) ~ we've talked more about baby names too.....not that we've agreed on any yet!! But I must say, so far I am feeling pretty good about this pregnancy! I just pray it works out...yeah I got a lot of that too at the gatherings this weekend....."We're praying for ya on this one, we really hope this one works out for you!" ~  Hey I am all for the prayers!! Today was the first official day of our vacation....didn't do much, stopped by my moms to tell my aunt and uncle thanks for coming to the party, and say our goodbyes......lounged around most of the day....I needed that!! I could use a month long vacation!!

So much going on here!! First off Sunday is Shawn's 30th birthday so I have TONS to do for that ....there will be lots of people there. It's so important to me to have a great birthday for him, because he is such an incredible husband, and a wonderful father and he really deserves this!! We have my cousins wedding Saturday...which puts a bit of a crimp on getting things ready for Shawn's party....Oh well it'll all work out I'm sure.

As far as pregnancy goes...last night I was getting ready for bed and for whatever reason I sqeezed my nipples and I noticed some colostrum coming out. hmmmm....didn't have that when I was pregnant before, but then again maybe this is due to the fact that I HAVE been pregnant before and have had milk and breastfed before...I don't know, I guess I'll mention it to Dr. Randolf next Friday...my boobs are really sore today though! Still peeing like crazy!! And I'm testy too!!! UGH I hate that!! Man my boobs hurt right now!! Oh well they could use some growth! lol

My mom is too cute sometimes! She stopped by our house last night, with a little gift in hand. It was for 'Baby Ball' ~ it was all wrapped up in tissue paper and tied with a cute satin ribbon. The tissue paper inside was blue, and the outside tissue paper was pink(b/c we're hoping for a girl...but another boy won't disappoint me either!)...the ribbon was a light light yellow color. The gift was a very soft plush little teddy bear that you press the belly and it plays music, and the cheeks light up red. She also had a little package of booties..... lol, how sweet huh? She got the same gift for my brother's impending baby...'Baby Baker' they're wanting a boy (well at least my brother is, my SIL is hoping for a girl) so mom switched their tissue paper around so that the blue was on the outside..and I guess their teddy bear was more 'boyish looking' lol...I am getting so anxious ... I just want to be farther along...so that I can feel the baby moving, and to be showing again....I LOVE pregnancy!!

Well CRAP! Ok so I was typing this letter and a fellow employee was having a problem with his e-mail so I went into his office to fix it....while I was in his office, my boss came in on my computer to try and figure out what his problem was by looking at my e-mail information....ok why?! But anyways like I said I was typing this so it was up on my screen...so I think my boss inadvertently found out I'm pregnant.....& I was SO NOT wanting to tell him yet, b/c he was a complete jerk about it when he found out I was pregnant with the baby I lost back in February. UUUGH!!! Thankfully I'm on vacation next week, and he's on vacation the following week...so I won't have to put up with his crabbiness!! lol

As far as pregnancy symptoms....still just have to pee all the time, haven't really had heartburn the past couple of days! YIPPY!! Only 7 more days until my first doctors appointment!! :)
