Hey Katie,
that's AWESOME about your ultrasound!!! i can't wait till we go, but i'm sooo nervous. we're scheduled to go next week, which means i'm only 11 weeks along. my doctor said they might even reschedule (which would be fine, as i've heard a story where someone went early and her doctor scared her by saying all this stuff not being right about the baby. she went back the week after, and all that stuff was developed - the baby was developing fine. i think her doctor was smoking something.) i'm hoping to find out the sex too, but again, i think i'll be going to early. guess we'll find out next week!

hehe, i was totally going to message you!!! i'm still in shock, and these hormones are crazy eh? anyway, thank you so much for the wishes :) i definitely hope the "scares" stop for you so you can enjoy your pregnancy without the worries.
i hope to see some baby pictures 9 or so months from now! 
(i'm considering posting some pics, too....we'll see...)

was just looking thru journals and came across your name choices...ava claire is our choice for a girl. ive noticed that ava is becoming more and more popular, but the combo isnt so common and i found it interesting that we had chosen the same two names. good choice! good luck with your baby!

Hey my name is Amanda and I am also about 6 weeks. My first appointment to see the doctor is on the 20th. Me and my husband are hoping for a boy. I thought I had the flu about 2 weeks ago and I went to see my regular doctor and he said yeah I probably have the flu so on my way home I thought to myself that I better go home and take a pregnancy test to to make sure and it was positive. I also can't fit into any of my regular pants for the past week. So I went out and bought some maternity jeans that you cant even tell are maternity pants. Congrats on your pregnancy and have a happy healthy one too!
