Time will tell....
This has been our first month TTC since I went off the pill in June 2007. My cycles have been 32 days each month except for 2 months and then I know traveling and working out harder made the difference in the length of the cycle!! I have learned so many things about myself this month!! For instance, I ovulate on day 19, not day 14! I also have a quite confusing preovulation dip in my BBT on about day 15!! I have to say that I put poor Brad through the ringer thinking I was ovulating at one point and then discovering it happens almost a week later!! I also have to say that we did all we could this month to conceive!! It has always been up to God but I feel better knowing we did our part too!! According to Fertility Friend we should wait to take a HPT until February 5. My period is due 1/31 and if it does not start then, it will be hard to resist taking a test but I know we can wait! But with as regular as I am, if I have not started by the 5th, I will be pretty sure we are pregnant!!! Please pray for us!! |

The time has come
So the time has come....we are finally going to try!! I am on day 6 of my cycle right now; my period came a few days early this month! I think it was because I have been sick! I am tracking my basal temperature and we are just going to see what happens this month!! We should know if we are pregnant by the end of the month! Please keep us in your prayers!! I have wanted this for sooo long and Brad is on board too now and as odd as it may sound with as gung ho as I have been, I am kind of afraid now that we are going to actually TTC  .......It seems surreal!! I know it is all in God's hand's though and that His perfect will for our lives will be done and that I need to relax!! DEEP breath-so here goes.......!! |

THIS close!
My sister in law and my "baby" brother had our nephew Gabe today!!!  He is so perfect!!! She was only in labor for 5 hours (or less!!)-she was induced today at 7 and had him at 11:17 am!! WOW!! My other sis in law was in labor 6 hours with her first baby when she had him in 2003! Although all labors are different, it makes me wonder if I will have a short labor too......Only time will tell! So we are hoping to try next cycle!! I can't believe it!! I think we are ready......So wish us luck and blessings!!! My cycle came right on time this month too : ) This is all for now, I will let you all know more as soon as we do : ) |

Back on track
So my cycle is back on track this month! 32 days! It must have been the travel that altered it last month. We are still planning to wait until after the first of the year to try though. I am working out of town at one of our properties until their numbers get to where they need to be so right now I do not know how we would even have the time to conceive let alone take care of a new baby! I still go through phases of really wanting to conceive right now and knowing that if waiting a few months means giving our child the best start in life, I can take the hormonal thing in stride  . I think that is a vital part of being a parent, learning to sacrifice your own wants for the well being or benefit of your children. |
