Belly and Bedding pics
I posted some 4 and 7 week belly shots as well as some pics of the bedding I like .  I can see a change in my belly from 4 to 7 weeks-it actually looks more flat to me-LOL!  The one with my shirt down looks like the beginning of a bump though!!

7 weeks

Today is the 7 week mark-a little over halfway through the first trimester!  As you may recall, I had to call my doctor yesterday about the bleeding after the gym Friday night.  The OB nurse said no sex and no gym for 7 days......I have read and my doctor told me at my preconception consultation that I should be able to continue the work outs that I'd been doing prior to becoming pregnant.  I guess I was working out a little too hard??  I had really been trying to tone it down a notch at the gym....My first appointment is this coming Monday and we are sooo excited!!  Our practicioner does not do an ultrasound until 12 weeks though so just a lot of tests and info this time!

I had a couple of queasy spells over the weekend!  Brad made Teriyaki (sp?) chicken, green beans and baked beans and I could not stand to smell it let alone eat it!!  I had to eat a whole wheat bagel.  All I want to eat are bland foods and I have noticed that I am more sensitive to salt!  We made homemade lasagna and Brad put what he said was a tad of salt on it and to me the it tasted like pure salt-LOL!  It is so funny how pregnancy can change sooo much about your body-even little things like salt sensitivity!!

My cousin is spending this coming weekend with us and we are so excited to have her!!  We are planning to go to the movies and maybe grill out if the weather and my sense of smell permits-LOL!Hopefully we won't have anything else to report until after our appointment Monday!  Keep us in your prayers please!!

6w5days

I know I normally post weekly updates but wanted to share something that happened last night.  I was sooo tired at work yesterday and did not feel like hitting the gym but knew I needed to since it had been nearly a week since I'd gone.  My coworker and I went and I did about 3 and a half miles on the eliptical and then we did some of the strength traiining machines.

I did not over do it at all and felt fine afterwards.  That is why I was so surprised to find there was brownish discharge in my underwear when I went to use the bathroom as soon as I got home and then when I wiped, there was a fair amount of red blood.  Sorry, gross, I know!!  I screamed for Brad to come to the bathroom and he was just as shocked as I was that I was bleeding!  I was not in any pain at all but it took a couple of times to wipe all the blood away!  There was a tad of redish mucous on the toilet paper too that I thought was blood stained leukorrea (I have been having that normal whiteish discharge for awhile now).

I took another test and it was still positive.  I still have all my symptoms, no cramping and the bleeding stopped after that trip to the bathroom.  I wonder if it was the leg press-it puts pressure on the abs or that we were "together" on Thursday night maybe?!!?  I know that sex can cause bleeding-but 20 hours later?

IDK but I have been praying practically nonstop!!  I told my dad about it today, he is a deacon and he asked me if I had surrendered it to God.....And I hadn't-not fully....I think I have NOW and am at peace with whatever His will is....As much as this baby was prayed for before it was conceived, as much as it is prayed for by us and our families daily and as good care as I am taking of myself, I know I am doing ALL I can to have a healthy pregnancy and baby and if anything happens it is somehow part of God's plan for my life.  I have to call the doctor about it on Monday-our appointment is not until NEXT Monday.  I wonder if they will want me to come in earlier since this is the second time I have had spotting/bleeding...The last time it was way less blood-like 2 drops and it was around when I should have had my period......Hopefully the doctor will have a logical reason-like working out that may have caused it....At any rate, please keep us in your prayers.

6 weeks!

Let's see, what all has happened over the past week??  For starters, at cycling class last Thursday I felt some pain in my lower tummy after the first sprint so I had to turn the tension down and pretty much remain seated the rest of the class because each time we stood up or increased the tension, I felt that same pain and it kinda scared me.

I had to work this past Saturday and the office got REALLY REALLY busy as it usually does on Saturdays-we normally have 5 girls in the office and on Saturdays there is only 1 (but still 5 people's worth of work)!  LOL!  Normally I can go without eating on a Saturday at work and be fine-well, not this time!!  I got SO dizzy I literally had to prop myself against the walls of the apartments I was giving tours of!!  I finally had to tell one of my prospective residents that I HAD to eat my yogert because I was dizzy!  My manager said that I could close up to eat next time and even ask people to wait!  She is so understanding-I am so grateful for that!!  I actuallly felt a little,on second thought, make that A LOT nauseated for the first time on Sunday and Monday and quite frankly it sucked!!  I feel better now though....

I had my first clothes issue today!  I know it is way too early to outgrow clothes but I put on a pair of jeans right out of the dryer and although they fit everywhere else, they HURT my tummy!!  I have not gained any weight so I think I was bloated with gas-gross I know!!  Darn brocoli and onions!!  It was so painful!!

Brad's mom came up and spent the night with us last night and we had a blast!!  She and I spent the day cleaning out the boxes that came out of the guest room  and organizing the pantry and then we went grocery shopping and looked at some maternity clothes at a consignment shop.  We came home and cooked dinner.  It was so nice to have her here!!  We have a great relationship and I am so grateful to have her in our lives!  This baby will be so blessed to have the grandparents it does!!  They are all so special!!

This will do it for our update......

Only a week and a half until our first appointment!!
