Finding Out I Was Pregnant
I found out i was pregnant april 20th 2008. Almost a month ago. So if im 6 months almost 7 months then i found out when i was about 5. Now i have never thought to be a beliver in abortions, but when i found out about the pregnancy, i was shocked, and very scared. Ive always been one to say that i wouldnt mind having a baby, and how much fun it would be, but then once it hit me that "ok, im actually pregnant," I started to think a little more grown up about the situatuon. Started to think about if i was really fit and ready to be a mother. In many ways i came to relize, that im really not ready to support and raise a baby. Now the hard thing to do was to figure out what i was going to do.
Well when i first found out i was pregnant, i went to planned parenthood and there the ones who did a pregnancy test and told me it was positive. They do not give out ultrasounds, so i really did not know how far along i was. So i had to set up an appointment, and long story short by the time i found out how far along i was(wich by the way was today) i learned that i was too far along for an abortion, well at least for the state that i live in. So now the only other options are parenthood or adoption.... today i sat down with a woman from a well known and respected adoption agency and im starting to consider that as a very likely possibility given the option that i can change my mind whenever i want, even up untill the point of giving birth. I dont know what the future holds, all i know is i hope that no matter what happens, my family and god does not frown upon me. |
