We had a lot of plans for July 4th but baby changed all that!  I went to work in the morning and got off at 2.  By the time I got home I had started to bleed a lot.  It slowed down a bit so I took the kids to the kiddie parade in the park for an hour.  When I got home I was still spotting so I called the dr. who wanted me to come in right away. 

I went in to be checked and they ended up admitting me.  My cervix is not dialated, but the baby is fully engaged in the pelvis.  I was having contractions so I am on some medicine for the next day or so to keep those to a minimum.  They also gave me two shots of steroids to help baby's lung development just in case.  I was in the hospital from July 4 through the 6th so they kept a pretty close eye on me.  I had an ultrasound and everything with baby looks good so we are not quite sure where the bleeding came from. 

I think this baby does not want to wait until his due date!!!  Let's hope he stays put for a while longer though.  Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated!
