I can't believe it has been so long since I last updated in here. Since people keep bitching at me to update (yes Megan that is you) I figured while I had a free minute I would. So what has been going since June? So much has happened for us. We sold our house in NJ and have now bought a house in NC. Since the base I worked at was on the closure list, I was allowed to transfer down south and join the rest of the New Jersians who have migrated down here. Everywhere I turn, there are people from NJ. Even our new neighbors are from a town close to ours in Jersey. We love our new home, it is brand new and absolutely gorgeous! Brianna has a huge playroom, which is filled already with toys. Pics in the album of the house...
Brianna has done so many new things, I don't even know where to start. Everyday is something new. She is crawling now and can pull herself up on everything to her feet. She climbs the furniture, her toys, her crib, anything sturdy. When she wakes in the morning or from her nap, she stands up in the crib, puts her music aquarium on and bangs on the railings for someone to come get her. She has gotten taller and slimmer as well. Her next doc appointment isn't until September, so I don't officially know her weight and height but you can tell by looking at her. Her hair is starting to grow in and it is very light. She still only has 2 teeth but they are so cute. She smiles and talks all the time. Well, babbles, not talks. She now sits in the shopping carts and in high chairs in restaurants. She loves the new view. While we are waiting to get off the daycare waiting list, Bobby stays at home as Mr. Mom and he is doing an absolutely wonderful job with her. I really feel like this has been the best thing in the world for the two of them. Now he can do everything for her and they are so much closer because of it. He can even give her baths!! Everything for us is really great right now, aside from being away from all our family and friends. We miss everyone and can't wait for visitors!!

My poor baby My poor babydoll has been so sick since yesterday. Her nose is running like crazy and she has had a fever of 100.8, which according to the doc is still low-grade for a baby. I feel so bad for her, her eyes have been so glazy and red and it is hard for her to drink her bottle because she has to keep stopping to take a breath since her nose is so clogged. She has been sneezing like crazy, which is good because a lot of the shit up her nose is coming out that way. She was at the point yesterday that she would hide her face when she saw me coming with the washcloth to wipe her nose. She cried so much last night I felt so bad that I couldn't do anything for her except give her tylenol every 4 hours. Today she is doing a little better, only a 98.7 temp today so far. This is the first time she has been sick, I thought maybe she was like her Daddy, who never ever gets sick. I think in the 8 years we have been together, he has been sick maybe twice. But only once so far in 7 months I guess is pretty good!!

Wow ---- 7 Months!
I cannot believe that my baby girl is turning 7 months old this week, in just 4 more days. It is amazing how fast time has flown. When I am out shopping and see little babies, it seems like yesterday that she was that small. She does so many new things every day and she is growing up so damn fast. I always say that I can't wait for her to walk and talk but in reality, I think I will miss these days of her depending so much on me for everything. Like this past weekend, sleeping in for me has become a thing of the past. I think the last time I slept in after 8 was in the beginning of my pregnancy. Well, Brianna woke up at her normal 6-6:30 time on Sunday and all I wanted to do was go back to bed. She took her bottle and played on my lap for a little while. Then I layed her down on my chest and we went back to sleep until 10:30, just lying together and cuddling all morning. I love having her sleep on me like that in the mornings, and listening to her little snores and her cute little sighs as she sleeps. I know I will miss that when she is grown.
Brianna had her 6 month check-up on Friday. With us going away in April, we had to push her check-ups back 2 weeks, so this appointment was really like her 7 month one. She weighed 18 pounds 10 ounces (WOW!!) and she grew ANOTHER inch and a half to 28 inches. That put her in the 90th percentile for weight, which she has steadily been and she moved up to the 95th percentile for height. She really is a giant... She definitely takes after Bobby's family in the height department. Some of his cousins are so tall. My family is all short so it isn't from us.
So new things Brianna has done since my last entry, let's see... She is out of her bouncer seat for good. She won't sit it in any longer and likes to hang out the sides, so that was retired, unhappily too because that was my favorite to bring her with me from room to room when I was cooking or cleaning. She is now in her walker and loves it so much (Thanks Megan!!) She pushes herself around the room, mostly backwards right now. She tries to bounce in it like her exersaucer though. She also loves her high chair and eats her food in there. She loves sitting in there before and after meals and playing with the straps. She started making "monster" noises this past weekend, she growls and it doesn't help that Bobby keeps doing it back to her so she copies him. She has tried just about every fruit and veggie and seems to like them all. Right now her fav is peaches and sweet potatoes. She has a fruit and cereal in the morning, fruit for lunch and then a veggie for dinner, with bottles all in between. Brianna now likes to sleep on her side and on her stomach. I started using this sleep positioner thing to try and keep her on her back, because when she would roll over onto her stomach at night, it would wake her up. Now she just rolls over with the positioner so it isn't helping. She has learned though to turn her head to the side and sleep on her arms when she is on her stomach so she can breathe. I tried rolling her onto her back from her side last night and she turned over, opened her eyes to look at me and then closed them and rolled right back over to her side. It's no use. She likes to be on her stomach like me. She is just too strong so she can move herself around even while in the positioner. I went in to get her the other morning and she was on her stomach at the top of the crib playing in her mirror and the positioner was thrown to the other end of the crib!! Brianna also really loves her own reflection in the mirror, go figure. She laughs and talks to herself in it. There is a mirror on her exersaucer and she will lean down into it, laugh and smile and talk to herself. What a little ham.....

Another tooth!!!
Well, this past weekend Brianna got another tooth!! She was so fussy on Friday when I got home from work and had a runny nose all day. That night, she woke every half hour crying, with tears running down her chubby little cheeks (my poor baby). I felt so bad, I knew she had to have another breaking through. Finally at 10, I gave her some tylenol in her bottle and that seemed to help her because she slept through the night. And 10 is late for her to begin with, her bedtime is usually between 8-9. So when we woke up Saturday morning, I felt in her mouth and sure enough there was another tooth, right next to the first one. She is still pulling on her ear though, so maybe more are coming??? My babydoll is growing up so fast I can't believe it...
Brianna was sitting all by herself this weekend, Bobby says she looks like a little bulldog when she does because she sits almost indian style, with her feet touching each other and her hands either on top of her knees or right in front of them on the ground. She held the position for awhile and was even able to look around and move a bit. She is getting better form now for crawling too. She now gets her butt in the air and gets up on all fours, but still keeps her head smooshed in the blanket. Soon enough.... I am running out of things to put her in these days. The swing is done, I am afraid she will tip it over when she sits up in it. She sits up so much in it that her head literally lays down on the tray in front. And she reaches up for the poles and stops the swing. She is scaring me now with her bouncer as well. She won't sit back anymore, she sits all the way forward and leans out the side of it. So now she has been in the exersaucer, which she loves. She bounces so much in it, I think she is going to wear out the shocks! And she takes the toys on it and bangs them as hard as she can on the tray. She loves the loud noise it makes.....
