We went on a tour of the hospital I will be giving birth in on Sunday afternoon. It was very interesting to say the least. It kinda freaked me out a bit being in one of the labor and delivery rooms. Not what I expected as I was expecting like an OR type setting. We got to see the recovery rooms, the family lounge area and the nursery. Luckily no one was in labor at the time so Bobby didn't freak out. In the recovery room you stay in, it is a single thankfully and has a microwave and fridge plus a recliner that pulls out into a bed for Bobby to stay in. I definitely had a reality check being there, knowing that I will be there shortly.
Only 89 more days to go until my due date and I am officially in the 3rd trimester as of this past weekend.....
I have my 7th month prenatal visit this Friday, nothing exciting just a little 5 minute appointment.... Will update after that and take some 7th month belly shots for everyone

I had my appointment with the high risk doc on Friday and we were finally able to find out the sex. Can't believe we are actually having a girl, when we thought the whole time it was a boy. The shock has worn off and Bobby is now OK although he keeps telling my stomach that she is already grounded and not allowed to date!! She has been active non-stop, even to the point where I can't sleep in on the weekends if I want to because she is kicking around ALL the time. I don't think she is going to last until November 11th.....
During the appointment, they took a lot of ultrasound pics (I only got one and haven't uploaded it yet). The calcium deposit was still there in her heart and the doc was also looking at the left kidney. He said there was a little more fluid in there than should be, which could be another marker for Down's but he tells me there is nothing to worry about again. They will look at both those things in the next ultrasound, September 27th. She weighs about 1 pound 13 ounces right now, which is right on track. Hard to believe that only almost 2 pounds of this huge stomach is the baby!

Glucose screening results
I spoke with my doctor's office this morning and found out that my glucose screening came back negative, meaning I do not have any form of gestational diabetes! One more thing out of the way that I do not have to worry about .
The baby is still kicking like crazy all of the time. Bobby finally got to feel it this weekend while we were at a wedding for my good friend Tom (Congrats Tom and Meera!!!) And he actually witnessed my stomach being popped out by the baby when I got kicked really hard yesterday. He thought that was pretty cool. Friday is my next ultrasound with the high risk doc and I am NOT leaving until he tells me the sex of the baby. Everyone else seems to know what they are having except for me. .....
Also, I don't think I ever mentioned in here that the baby got to go to its first concert a couple of weeks ago. I won tickets on the radio, so my girlfriend Melko and I went to see Nickelback and Bon Jovi in Philly. It was awesome and the baby sure enjoyed the music!! This baby has been to a lot of events so far this summer, 3 Yankee games and its first concert!!
