3rd Weekly Appointment Today I had my 3rd weekly appointment (37 weeks and 6 days) and it was pretty uneventful like all the other appointments. I didn't gain any weight (THANK GOD!!) and my BP was perfect, 120/80. Brianna's heartbeat was good, head is still down and he says she is a very happy baby in there. Let's hope not too happy because her lease in there is up! The doc said he estimates her at 6 1/2 pounds and if I go until my due date, she will be about 7 1/2 pounds. So that is a good size. He said next week he will do the internal exam to see how things are progressing down there. And then he said, well if we see you next week. Wow, I wish that were true. I am so ready for this pregnancy to be over with already. I hate feeling so uncomfortable and crampy and the nausea sucks. Somedays I throw up about 5 times. I finished up everything on my list by putting the stroller together this past week and my mom and dad helped me put the car seat in the Jeep. If I waited for Bobby to do it Brianna wouldn't need it anymore. I can tell he is getting nervous and excited now. He keeps rubbing my stomach and talking to her. The other night while we were hanging out on the couch watching TV he fell asleep with his hand on my stomach and could feel her moving around and kicking the whole time. It was pretty annoying having his hand there while I kept having the BH contractions but I didn't have the heart to tell him to get the f*** off of me, ha ha ha. He told me that he keeps dreaming about her every night and that she is always sleeping and hanging out on his chest while he is laying down. He tells me she is going to be Daddy's Little Girl. I have my next appointment on Tuesday, Halloween, so more updates after that...... 15 days to go!!!

Second weekly appointment
I had my second weekly appointment on Friday and I didn't hear anything I wanted to. First off, my BP was good, 128/70 and Brianna's heart beat was good in the 130-140 range. I was really swollen in my ankles, feet and legs going there because I had the appointment after work, so the doc thinks my weight had to do with that. I am sitting at right now a total of 40 gained. HOLY SHIT!!! I am hoping he was right about it being water retention. We'll see this Friday because I will have the appointment in the morning since I am off work and I am not swollen in the mornings. It goes away while I sleep and elevate my legs.
Next, I failed the Group Strep B culture from the last time so I am positive for that. That sucks. The doc said it is nothing to be worried about though, a lot of women contract it during pregnancy, why, they don't know. All they have to do is give me penicillen in my IV during labor and delivery so Brianna won't contract it. He said that he has only known 1 baby in 10 years to contract it, so that made me feel better. Although, being me, I researched it this weekend and didn't like what I found; that if a baby contracts it, it can lead to menengitis and death. Nice right? Well, I just have to believe the doc and hope that everything will be fine. It is always something with me though.
Last, I am not dialated AT ALL, not even 1 damn centimeter!! That was upsetting. But i just turned full term so I don't know why I even expected to be. I am hoping for some progression this Friday!! I am so ready to have her already. Symptoms are OK, still the heartburn and my back hurts but other than that nothing really new. I do get BH contractions a lot more now. And they are getting pretty uncomfortable. But only 19 days to go (hopefully less, no more)........

First every week appointment
On Friday I had my first every week appointment. Pretty much same old thing, my blood pressure was good at 128/70 and Brianna's heartbeat was good in the 120s-130s. I had to get the Strep B culture swab done and I will get the results at my appointment next week. I got to fill out the forms to pre-register for the hospital, so one more thing I do not have to worry about. The doc said her head is still down, ready to go, and he doesn't expect her to change positions between now and D-day. I am having BH contractions still all the time, but not any stronger yet. My back is really starting to kill me and sleeping sucks. Did I mention I am ready to have my body back???
With the help of my Mom, the nursery is FINALLY complete!! Mom came over this past weekend and helped me put all the wall decorations up. Everything looks so good, I love it. Bobby loved it too. Now, all I have left is to put together the stroller, pack n play and swing, get the car seat in the Jeep, put the sheets and pad on the bassinet, and pack my bag for the hospital. Brianna's bag is done as well. So all this little stuff shouldn't take too long (I hope!!). I took pics of the nursery but didn't upload them to my computer yet, I will do that maybe tonight and then post them here!
